Linux and Windows OS knowledge required.
Network knowledge and/or backup tools will be advantage Hardware and Computer Lab's equipment knowledge will benefit.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. Install and maintain EDA vendor’s tools in Linux environment.
Install and maintain virtualization desktop environment based on Linux KVM, Hyper-V or other Haifa, ISR

2+ years of system administration experience in Linux and Windows environments. Understanding client-server application models, basic technical knowledge in storage and backup area.
Virtualization solutions in operator level
Proven ability to multi-task.
Independent, self-starter and/or team player.
Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written correspondence) in a professional and courteous manner with technical and non-technical personnel.
Interpersonal skills, target oriented, responsibilities, ownership

To be successful in this role you must by thoroughly comfortable with the Linux, Windows operating system and their operation in a large scale environment.
Other qualifications include:
- 2+ years of system administration experience in Hybrid Linux/Windows environments/EDA cluster.
- University degree or equivalent, alternatively at least three years’ work related.
- Strong Linux and Windows skills.
- Experience with shell or other language scripting.
- Experience with Enterprise backup solutions will be beneficial.
- Robust troubleshooting and strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability required.
