Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related scienceswith hands-on experience on AI/ML
  • 8+ years of people management experience withdemonstratedability to build strong teams.
  • Understanding ofOrder toCash/Finance/Services business processes and application of industry best practices.
  • Experience in architecting and driving implementation of large-scale services.
  • Proven design and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on quality and engineering excellence.
  • Strong communicationand collaboration skills and ability torepresentteam/Microsoft in internal and external forums.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

    Key responsibilities:

    As the Principal Software Engineering Manager, you willbe responsible forthe following:

    • Leada softwareengineering teams and buildsolutions across multiple teams and complex integrated ecosystems and dependencies.
    • Champion modern engineering practices (Agile, Live Site, Monitoring, Telemetry, backlog grooming, etc.)
    • Execute flawlessly – Big Bet project releases, Product Launches, FiscalClosesand other moments of truth.
    • Demonstrate strategic thinking, customer obsession and passion for quality.
    • Achieve more with less byoptimizingsolutions, Service improvements and spending less on resources and infrastructure.
    • Partner with peers on system performance,capacitymanagement and scalability to ensure sustained service stability,SLAsand Business KPIs
    • Ensure to stay secure and compliant with all relevant services including SOX requirements.
    • Influencedecisions and business outcomes through strong collaboration with stakeholders,partnersand globalcounterparts
