Job Description

A UX designer that also has the ability to design mood boards, style guides, and develop overall art direction is a major plus and will be prioritized. This will be a challenging opportunity to work with key strategic partners within our Human Health organization and work on high visibility initiatives.

Primary activities include:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, user needs, and business objectives.
• Translate user stories, personas, and design requirements into wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and workflows.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and visual designs that adhere to brand guidelines and design principles, ensuring consistency and coherence across all digital touchpoints.
• Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and analytics data to continuously improve the user experience.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions, providing design specifications and assets as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design, and share knowledge and insights with the team.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and champion the importance of UX/UI in achieving business goals and objectives.
• Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize design tasks and deliverables, and manage timelines and deadlines effectively.
• Communicate design concepts, rationale, and solutions effectively to stakeholders, and solicit feedback and input throughout the design process.

Ideal candidate:

• Five or more years of UX/UI Design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
• Ability to develop Art Direction, mood boards, and User Interface design is a major plus.
• Ability to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questions
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Figma, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
