Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an Architect in IBM Consulting, you’ll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You’ll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
You’ll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements, constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.
[Your primary responsibilities include]
- Assistance in formulating measures to upgrade IT functions
- Assistance in developing strategies to leverage advanced cloud-based technologies
- Enterprise architecture development support
- Assistance in developing a roadmap for transformation, including modernization, migration, and development of cloud-native solutions
- System architecture design support
- Support for designing operational models for IT organizations and processes (DevOps, SRE)
- CoE/CoC management support to maintain the operational model
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
・Experience in “Systemization Concept Development Project” or “IT Strategy Development Project” or “Enterprise Architecture Development Project” or “Transition Phase of Outsourcing Project
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience as an application architect in a cloud environment
- Experience in designing and implementing systems for migration from on-premise to Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) cloud environments.
- Experience in application development for mission-critical systems and DB design for mission-critical systems
- TOEIC score of 730 or equivalent, and the ability to read English e-mails and documents. If you have a high level of English proficiency, you will have more chances to be involved in our activities.
