Some of the challenges include optimizing placement and scheduling of dynamic workloads on distributed cloud infrastructure to improve resourceacross compute, memory, storage, networking as well as AI hardware accelerators. The algorithms we develop must capture the complex behaviour of the workloads, dynamically adapt to changing conditions, and need to be tested/implemented on production systems without compromising user experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate in relevant field AND 3+ years related-research experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leadership experience (e.g., leading research projects, leading program committees, mentoring interns/post-docs).
• Research experience and at least five publications in top conferences/journals in one of the following areas: machine learning, systems, privacy, software engineering, statistics, optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:
