As a here at , you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining grinding machines to produce precision tools. Your expertise in grinding techniques and tool sharpening will be essential in ensuring the quality and performance of our tools. You will work closely with a team of skilled Technicians/Machinists and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the quality and performance of our tools by operating and maintaining grinding machines to produce sharp and precise cutting edges. Your attention to detail and knowledge of grinding techniques will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of tool quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain grinding machines to sharpen and shape cutting tools

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine grinding specifications

Set up and adjust machines and tooling to achieve desired grinding results

Monitor grinding operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency

Inspect finished tools using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specifications

Collaborate with other team members (Technicians/Machinists) and departments (Engineering) to meet production goals and customer requirements

Provide valuable insights & suggestions to enhance Cutting Tool capabilities to prolong tool life

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

MUST HAVE:

Proven experience as a Tool Grinder or similar role

Technical diploma or certification in machining or a related field

Experience in operating

Strong knowledge of grinding techniques and
tool sharpening

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Knowledge of different tool materials and their grinding requirements

• Ability to collaborate with others and work independently
• Ability to identify key details and troubleshoot issues effectively
• Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity for handling various tools and equipment
• Creative thinking and idea generation for continuous process improvements
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information and instructions
