Job Description

• Translate technical and marketing materials into Simplified and Traditional Chinese for external use: Product release notes and software manuals, software strings, presentations, brochures, newsletters etc.
• Deliver translations in the relevant formats: MadCap Flare, Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, Active Trail etc.
• Translate Chinese materials into English for internal use.

Produce end-user software documentation in English, based on developer specs.

• Manage customer newsletter emails using Active Trail.
• Maintain recipient database, schedule sending, monitor receipt analytics – all per territory.

Perform marketing-related tasks in Chinese and English e.g., online marketing and lead follow-up.

English at mother tongue level – must.

Ability to translate documents to/from Simplified Chinese/Traditional Chinese/English – must.

Ability to read and comprehend specification documents in English relating to software functionality and graphical user interfaces.

Detail-oriented so that documents are error free – both in content and format.

Ability to quickly learn new computer systems and software.

Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.

Ability to manage own time according to the agreed priorities.

Proficient in MadCap Flare.

Marketing writing skills in Chinese.

Bachelor’s degree
