General Summary:
As a member of the Automotive Security Test team the candidate will help in meeting 100% Security Testing of SW modules goals ,identity security issues on different OS like Linux Android, QNX, LRH, Linux communicate the same to Security Development Team. He/she will work with engineers across a range of disciplines (e.g. hardware, software and systems) and Different Chipset Generations Gen1 to Gen5 Automative Chips.
Candidate should have understanding of embedded software development (device drivers, OS concepts, ARM architecture, Trustzone), preferably on Automotive SOCs or any complex SoCs.
Security Module experience on ARM Trustzone or experience in QNX OS, Virtualization, Linux Redhat OS experience will be a plus!
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1+ year of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
Candidate will be working independently on Security SW features with Development teams and other stakeholders across globe.
Candidate understand the SW implementation and develop test code and test framework to create API level as well as SW Quality test cases and report bugs to Development team across all technological areas.
Candidate also have to follow ASPICE standard to ensure SW Quality is met.
Cyber Security and penetrative, adversarial/negative testing of the SW modules are also a critical part of the role and responsibilities.
Strong coding skills in C, C++ to develop test applications and fix test application SW bugs. write test codes and framework to test the SW modules. Also, to fix existing framework bugs.
Working in Qualcomm environment is a plus.
RUMI or any other simulation environment will be an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience working in a Linux environment, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Candidate will be working on challenging environment dealing with Automotive SW and HW features based on ARM Trust zone and various OSs like QNX(Blackberry),HGS(Greenhill), Linux.
SW driver virtualization is the key concept where candidate will work to uncover SW bugs.
Whitebox testing involved understanding technology and SW and develop test code. - its code, infrastructure, and integrations with external systems.
Candidate will be working in a challenging environment to deliver error free SW quality.
Good at writing test plans of any features in the embedded space.
Python scripting knowledge for automation.
Strong OS and kernel concepts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and analytical skills.
Should be dynamic and ready to explore multiple tech areas.
Experience in Automotive areas like ADAS, ASIL, Virtualization, Hypervisors , Guest VMs will be added advantage
Strong exposure of working in Automotive test environments
Strong basics and hands on experience in Wireless Technologies and SOC Security is must.
Strong analytical skills Very good communication skills
