Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 9 years of experience working on technology policy issues within government, think tanks, public interest groups, or related industry associations.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English and Japanese with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with product managers and engineers.
- Experience working on a global team with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience in public policy issues relating to digital advertising personalization, including digital advertising ecosystems and digital privacy issues.
- Familiarity with internet technologies, policy, and political environments.
- Ability to write and translate complex issues into simple language suitable for various audiences.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
