Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Project Manager at Honeywell, you will be at the forefront of project management excellence, ensuring successful project delivery from inception to completion. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Holding ultimate responsibility for delivering and managing projects on time and within budget, effectively managing risks.
- Acting as the primary interface to Honeywell’s customers, embodying professionalism consistent with Honeywell values.
- Reviewing and managing the project scope as sold, producing, monitoring, and maintaining project delivery schedules.
- Producing accurate commercial forecasts and reports, closely monitoring revenue, margin, cost budgets, and billings throughout the project.
- Leading project teams in adopting, implementing, and complying with policies, processes, and business and project execution best practices.
- Assessing and managing internal and external resources, including subcontracting, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Engaging with sourcing to manage and negotiate third-party suppliers for material plan and budget attainment.
- Ensuring timely delivery of design specifications and project documentation.
- Managing Honeywell and third-party equipment inspections and tests.
- Facilitating change management processes to ensure customers and management are aware of changes in project scope.
- Tracking project status and providing monthly reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing risks and opportunities, taking early action to minimize risks.
- Ensuring projects are delivered to time, budget, and customer satisfaction.
- Controlling and reporting revenue, cost, billing, and GM to ensure performance against forecasts.
- Managing projects' Working Capital, ensuring billing is as per contract or better and all payments are collected timely.
- Championing and leading project Quality Assurance.
- Driving the Honeywell safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements/regulations.
Key Skills and Experience: We are seeking a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in managing a variety of projects within an engineering environment, including managing local and remote teams.
- Experience in managing project financials and managing negotiations with clients/suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and manage conflicting priorities.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and flexible.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills in both Danish and English.
- Proficient in project management tools and techniques, including PMIS, MS Project, and SAP.
- Willingness to travel.
