As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will own production infrastructure across our cloud environments and work closely with platform, dev-infra and automation tests teams to drive operational excellence. You will be responsible for:

• Keeping production stable and working, having a dedicated team as a first line of support

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Experience with FinOps best practices, including identifying excessive cloud spending across different categories
• Experience leading complex infrastructure projects (e.g. migration from one cloud provider to another)
• Experience with AWS: RDS, Networking, EKS, EC2, Fargate
• Experience implementing and designing disaster recovery strategies
• Experience with IaaC-based infrastructure

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services for scanning and analyzing cloud workloads (VMs, containers, buckets, databases, etc..)
• Build infrastructure for reconstructing file systems across different operating systems (Linux and Windows) to enable deep analysis
• Integrate security detection engines for vulnerabilities, secrets, compliance, and malware
• Collaborate with security researchers and product managers to translate complex requirements into impactful product features
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Participate in design and code reviews to uphold technical excellence and team standards
• Lead features end-to-end – from design and planning to deployment and monitoring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience building backend services or distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Python

Requirements

• Expertise in Swift with 5+ years of experience in iOS development - with a proven track record of shipping apps to production

• Experience with MVVM architecture or similar architecture

Our sensor delivers deep runtime visibility across cloud environments, spanning processes, syscalls, network activity, operating systems, and containerized workloads. As a Detection Analyst, you will examine this data at scale, refine detections, surface suspicious behaviors, and collaborate with the research team to continuously improve our security outcomes.

• Examine runtime events and security findings collected by the Orca Sensor to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential threats.
• Tune detection logic to reduce false positives and improve accuracy.
• Investigate alerts from real customer environments and propose improvements.
• Work closely with the research team to refine existing detections and provide insight for new ones.
• Partner closely with field teams and product managers – managing requests, sharing findings, and keeping everyone aligned.
• Produce short internal or external updates on relevant security trends or incidents.
