Job Description:

Provide safety/environmental support to R&D operations. Conduct defined technical and/or project tasks within the safety/environmental field, leading to the successful completion of assigned project(s).

• Initiate and complete activities leading to new or improved safety methods or processes which have significant impact potential at a program or project level within 3M Japan Lab operations.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments and identify actions for improvement.
• Collect and analyze safety and health data and report trends and results to leadership.
• Participate in EHS performance improvement projects.
• Develop and present EHS training packages.
• Assist in investigation of incidents or near misses.
• Conduct EHS self-assessments
• Communicate project or program status and results to leadership and laboratory operations.
