• As our Nike Store Athlete (Sales Associate) your mission will be to deliver a premium consumerexperience by demonstrating the expertise to navigate through individual needs and providing acomplete solution through Nike products and services to give consumers what they need toconnect, train, and compete with the knowledge to achieve their goals.

  
  Responsibilities

  
  ▪ Utilize customer service skills, basic sales techniques, and product knowledge to connectcustomers with the right product and drive sales
  ▪ Build the bond between consumer and brand by providing superior service and adaptingbrand stories to the retail setting
  ▪ Maintain knowledge of various store departments and be available to operate cashregister for regular transactions, perform shipping and receiving duties, stock the floor,perform cleaning duties, and build visual displays when necessary
  ▪ Serve as a product knowledge resource for consumers and entry level associates. Seekeducational opportunities to develop advanced level or specialized knowledge aboutselling, Nike products and culture, sales and service techniques
  ▪ Assist Leads, Senior Associates, and Managers in training entry level associates
  ▪ Assist with loss prevention efforts by providing proactive customer service
  ▪ One or more years of customer service and/or retail experience preferred
  ▪ Demonstrable passion for the Nike brand
  ▪ Able to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication anddivision
  ▪ Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written English (or other relevantlanguage)
  ▪ Able to accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  ▪ Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent

As a Lead, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional consumer service and ensuring a premium brand experience to our consumers. You will coordinate, coach, and motivate the employees in your area while maintaining an excellent work atmosphere. You will support the management of the daily business in your area to achieve sales targets, including digital services, visual merchandising, sales floor, and promotional campaigns. You will identify and solve problems in partnership with your store leadership and be a brand ambassador for NIKE’s initiatives. You will also ensure the store complies with all NIKE standards and guidelines.

1. COMMERCIAL: You will support a team that can deliver efficient receiving of product, inventory accuracy to visual presentation standards, and make timely monthly initiative launches

2. ATHLETE EXPERIENCE: You will ensure the team is equipped to deliver the highest quality athlete experience.

3. CONSUMER EXPERIENCE: You will lead by example and deliver our sales floor service to bring the consumer journey to life.

Qualifications

• Customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a small team of peers.
• Effective communicator, brand ambassador, and collaborative teammate.
• Demonstrated ability to apply product sales techniques.
• Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours(***),which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays, based on department and store/company needs.
