At Unity, our Ads Business Intelligence team plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making, identifying new business growth opportunities, and developing impactful analytics tools. We operate a full-spectrum ad ecosystem, including multiple ad networks and a mediation platform - a dynamic and fast-paced marketplace environment.

As a new Senior BI Developer within the Network Insights group, you’ll report to the Senior Manager of Machine Learning BI Analytics team. Your focus will be on turning marketplace data into actionable insights and strategies that empower user acquisition success for largest mobile app advertisers. You’ll lead end-to-end data initiatives - diving into business challenges, analyzing ML model performance, and delivering predictive reporting to shape the Unity Ads roadmap. You'll work closely with teams across product, engineering, data science, and revenue to translate insights into measurable impact.

From diagnosing performance issues to building monitoring tools, you’ll help improve retention and optimize outcomes across the ad ecosystem.

What you'll be doing

  • Analyze complex datasets using reporting and predictive statistics to extract meaningful insights. Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Design scalable and reliable solutions, manage and maintain analytics products and BI solutions for the entire ML group.
  • Create clear and visually compelling reports and dashboards to present analytical findings to key stakeholders for both high-level network ML health and detailed ML model performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized reporting solutions that address specific business needs.
  • Be a subject matter expert. Translate business requirements into actionable analytical tasks and deliverables for decision making across ads product portfolio on topics such as product roadmap planning, financial forecasting and business policies to support Unity Ads strategy.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization based on data-driven insights.

What we're looking for

  • Strong expertise in statistical analysis, including experimentation and hypothesis testing using statistical software packages in Python, R or equivalent.
  • Experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, Periscope or similar. Proficiency with SQL on large data in cloud environments (e.g. BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to deliver complex technical information to a wide range of audiences and influence business decisions.
  • Bias for action. Curiosity, proactiveness and ability to decompose ambiguous problems into analytical problems.
  • Autonomous, fast learner, and able to prioritize well while working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with many different stakeholders.
  • Background in industrial engineering, statistics, economics, or other mathematics analytics degree equivalent.
