• Lead and oversee a team of Data Engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions

• Managing data pipelines from multiple sources, including designing, implementing, and maintaining
• Translating business priorities into data models by working with business analysts and product analysts
• Collaborate across the business with various stakeholders, such as data developers, systems analysts, data scientists and software engineers
• Owning the entire data development process, including business knowledge, methodology, quality assurance, and maintenance

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working as a BI Developer / Data Engineer or a similar role
• 2+ years of experience working as a Team Lead
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineer, Computer Science, Math’s, or other numerate/analytical degree equivalent or army unit equivalent
• Advanced proficiency and deep understanding of SQL
• Skills in data modeling , business logic processes, as well as experience with DWH design
• Experience with Python
• An enthusiastic, fast-learning, team-player, motivated individual who loves data

As a Senior Engineer on the team you will prioritize and tackle problems as they arise, working iteratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a great self-service data infrastructure and stability for our developers and analysts. Today we serve various eCommerce organizations, enabling them to make decisions based on the knowledge at the core of their business.

In this role, you can expect

• Lead technical design and implementation of major software components, systems, and features across teams.
• Work with a variety of programming languages, systems, and cloud technologies, including: Python, DBT, Databricks, Spark, Looker, Airflow, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform
• Apply your technical experience in performance, architecture, interfaces and engineering best practices to face cutting-edge data related challenges.
• Help build a data driven culture of quality and innovation by leading cross-team collaboration and execution of projects delivering high value to customers.
• Manage trade-offs, priorities, and deliverables by applying your experience driving projects to successful completion.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience working as a Data Infra Engineer or a similar role
• Deep understanding of the Modern Data Stack, specifically DBT, Databricks, Spark, Airflow and Looker
• Experience troubleshooting issues related to “Distributed Big Data Computing” environment as well as DevOps tooling
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go, etc)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
