As a, you will be responsible for supporting our strategic enterprise customers in Japan, reporting to the. You will partner directly with regional account executives to help change our customers' views and how they approach cloud security. You will be their trusted advisor for all matters related to cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP. We are passionate about technical sales and helping our customers achieve the maximum value from our solution.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership to our customers and prospective customers in conjunction with helping our team meet their quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide presentations to our customers and prospective customers such as whiteboarding, product demonstrations, slides, and proof of value outcomes.
  • Help our customers and prospective customers plan in-depth test plans for showing the value of the Wiz platform in their environment (proof of value).
  • Invest time in learning new product features, industry-related developments and broadening your overall technical skillset.
  • Represent Wiz in technical forums such as trade shows, technical meet-ups, and industry events.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Ability to deliver world-class demonstrations and training experience to our channel customers
  • Mastered the technical sales process
  • Thrive in a creative technical role, assisting partners to build a technical business delivery model
  • Experience in a sales engineering role delivering solutions to C-level executives at enterprise customers
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Cloud security experience
  • AWS/Azure/GCP hands-on experience
  • Network engineering experience
  • Strong operating system, virtual machine, and container knowledge
  • Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks
  • Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates, and keys

Partner Marketing Manager, Japan

You will work cross-functionally with the Japan Channel Sales team, Field Marketing, Global Partner Marketing, and the broader marketing organization to accelerate pipeline growth through collaborative partner programs (‘to’, ‘through’, and ‘with’ strategies). This position reports to the Japan Field Marketing Lead.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans with distributors, resellers, and CSPs to drive brand awareness and pipeline growth across Japan.
  • Collaborate with CSP Alliance Managers, Channel Leads, and Partner Marketing counterparts to define strategic initiatives and joint marketing priorities.
  • Localize and implement global partner marketing campaigns in alignment with regional field marketing strategies.
  • Create and manage detailed campaign plans including objectives, messaging, channels, calls to action, follow-up processes, and performance metrics.
  • Drive multi-partner demand generation initiatives, working closely with field and channel marketing teams.
  • Support and execute strategic CSP-hosted or partner-facing events that generate demand and foster partner engagement.
  • Oversee the planning and management of Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and associated programs within the region.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in partner marketing within B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environments in Japan.
  • Proven success in developing and executing high-impact partner marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to align marketing initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience executing field marketing activities such as webinars, trade shows, and partner events.

  • Be a legal business partner to Wiz’s revenue teams in Japan, Singapore, India and Australia summarizing and communicating legal concepts and risks in a way that is meaningful for business teams
  • Take ownership of the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of a wide range of legal agreements. Advise your fellow Wizards on contract interpretation and negotiation to accelerate contract velocity
  • Seek to understand the context of the positions of Wiz’s customers and the requests from Wiz’s internal clients, and strive to solve problems and address issues from their perspective
  • Triage a heavy workflow, setting appropriate priorities with internal clients and delivering results efficiently
  • Support the continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes
  • Manage agreements that comply with company policies and risk tolerance

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 6+ years of transaction experience with an emphasis on commercial contracts, preferably in-house at technology companies (law firm experience will also be considered)
  • Experience in negotiating SaaS contracts with customers in Japan, Singapore, India or Australia.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English. Ability to negotiate and draft contracts and legal language in both Japanese and English.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and experience in handling and dealing with data privacy related questions when negotiating SaaS contracts and DPAs
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in Japan, Singapore, India or Australia with a demonstrated record of success as a lawyer
  • Strong “business-friendly” style that comes with an understanding that the legal team’s primary purpose is to support the growth and success of the business
  • Ability to structure, draft and negotiate a high volume and broad range of contracts, including SaaS contracts, professional services agreement, partner agreements and NDAs
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to advocate for a position while maintaining a collaborative and open-minded approach
  • Ability to work independently on a remote basis and as a member of a global team
  • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems
