We are seeking a motivated Intern for Yield Management in Manufacturing Engineering to join our team in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in optimizing manufacturing processes and improving production efficiency.

• Assist in analyzing production data to identify areas for yield improvement
• Support the development and implementation of yield enhancement strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes
• Participate in data collection and analysis using statistical tools and software
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and projects
• Help create and maintain documentation related to yield management activities

REQUIRED

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and yield management concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

SKILLS

• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a intern, you will be a part of the Manufacturing Engineering department and engage in interdisciplinary research along with other disciplines such as:

• Product engineering
• Manufacturing operations
• Mechanical design

REQUIRED

• Bachelor or Master programs for Mechanical & Computer Science, or other quantitative fields from a reputed university or research institution.

Familiar with mechanical parts drawing software: Solidwork or AUTO CAD.

• Technical knowledge and process experts on specific process area.
• Understand the fundamentals and interactions of new process with Plate, Polish and Wash.
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop new products to meet technology roadmap requirement.

Regular

• Support NPI/Pilot to deliver and meeting new product requirement.
• Conduct experiments for new enablers, quality and cost improvement. Perform pilot scale testing, analyze data and reporting.
• Applies technical knowledge to design and develop processes, procedures and tooling concepts.
• Qualify process, launch into manufacturing and quantify improvement.
• Process qualification through SMO.
• Volume trial run through TECN.
• Implementation through PECN.
• Ensure proper documentation is complete.
• Prepare and presents data and recommendations at technical review.

Irregular

• Training of new process.
• Lead or join Yield/Quality/Cost for Continuous Improvement or troubleshooting task force.

REQUIRED:

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering/Material Science

• Involved in compliances audit on production floor.
• Verify that corrective and preventive action implementation.
• Archive disks management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Involved in product containment & disposition execution.
• Perform Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA); FQAP, Shipment & Product OBA Buy Off
• eNCS monitoring to work on product containment closure.
• Perform regular process audit & follow up on nonconformance closure.
• Archive Disk routine collection. Storage, retrieving & disposition.
• Support in verification on CAPA closure related to quality issue.

REQUIRED:

• Diploma holder in engineering field

SKILLS

• Able to write & read in English.
• Skills in Microsoft office
• Working experience in related field is an advantage.
• Good communication skill and able to work independently.
