• Manage a supply chain team of planner/buyers and respective team leaders, responsible for customer service, inventory and write offs
• Accountable for assessing demand forecasts, PO creation and PO fulfilment, supply chain execution in the region including SC master data, follow-ups, escalation with the supplier and the internal functions
• Harmonize, optimize and improve the processes and governance mechanisms to increase efficiency and compliant ways of working
• Manage market driven changes (artworks, demand fluctuations etc.) in order to ensure product compliance and to support market needs for all relevant supply chain activities
• Provide updates to senior leadership including identification of key milestones and resources which will include product introductions and transfers, as appropriate
• Routinely monitor team performance and initiate process improvements to ensure achievement of key KPIs like CSL, OTIF, GRs, inventory etc.
• Actively lead Goods Receipt, Cash Flow Management initiatives using all applicable levers under Supply Chain function purview
• Effectively collaborate with other functions like Quality, Procurement, MS&T, LPCM, SRM and SRTs

• Degree in engineering or master’s in science/pharmacy (engineering preferred)
• 15+ years of experience with significant experience of managing supply chain activities in an SAP environment

Definition, implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, organization and strategy for EMSO Quality

Assurance that current pharmaceutical guidelines and legal provisions applicable for the manufacturing, packaging and testing of Third Party Products are met.

• External Manufacturing & Supply Operations Quality Management System on regional (Asia Pacific) level : Develops, Implements, maintains and continuously improves quality processes and systems to ensure the quality oversight of commercial products manufactured, packaged, tested and released at Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO's)
• EMSO Quality Oversight about CMOs : Implements, monitors, and reinforces Corporate Quality and TGO Standards at the CMO sites or suppliers, consistent with the business objectives, to ensure the manufacture of high quality pharmaceutical products, in accordance with regulatory compliance, internal, local, and international requirements to protect Teva's global branding.
• Supplier Evaluation, Due Diligence and Qualification : Collaborates with EMSO and Global Quality on the identification and spearheads the selection process of CMOs for third party projects
• EMSO Proactive CMO / Supplier Management : Establishes a closer collaboration with strategic CMOs /suppliers by adopting the key account management approach. (Supplier Relationship Management)
• Auditing of CMO : Ensure establishment and approval of the annual EMSO EU and APAC supplier audit plan
• Compliance issue : Ensures the GMP and regulatory compliance for EMSO products manufactured in the APAC Region for all TEVA markets
• Launches : Ensures Compliance with Pharmaceutical Regulations and TEVA Standards
• Budget: Establishes an annual regional budget for EMSO Quality as part of the AOP process, taking into account variable influences like volume changes, projects, launches, acquisitions and divestments, strategic and compliance remediation work.

• 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and / or Quality Operations roles (QC/QA)
• Degree of Pharmacy, Chemistry or other related Natural sciences
• Understanding of TEVA`s Quality Management Systems and corporate management in relation to projects and business partnerships
• Strong Multifunctional leadership, relationship skills and people management skills
• Willingness to travel (40%)
• Ability to successful communicate and lead inclusion and diversity in line with TEVA´s Globa Leadership Principles
• Detailed knowledge of relevant international guidelines, broad knowledge of nalytical procedures and various manufacturing processes
• Several years of experience in negotiations with international suppliers and participation in GMP inspections / audits

Establish and Maintain Relationships with CMO/ CDMO manufacturing organization:

• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with CMO/ CDMO manufacturing organization to ensure successful product manufacturing, process development, and scale-up activities
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to CMOs on process optimization, scale-up, and troubleshooting.
• Support transfer of new products or processes to external manufacturing sites

Monitor Performance

• Assess the performance of external manufacturing partners, identify opportunities for improvement
• Ongoing performance tracking for external manufacturing, including quality, cost, delivery, and efficiency. Ensure the alignment of external sites with Teva expectations

Communication and Escalation:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day technical and operational issues related to external manufacturing. Escalate concerns to senior management when necessary.

Manufacturing Support:

• Oversee technical aspects of manufacturing processes to ensure they meet product specifications, regulatory standards, and Teva requirements
• Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, robustness, and yield
• Provide technical leadership in scale-up and transfer of new products from development to commercial manufacturing.

Process Improvement:

• Continuously review and improve processes at external manufacturing sites to meet the Teva standards for product quality and operational efficiency
• Introduce process improvements and ensure effective implementation at external sites
• Evaluate and implement changes to improve robustness and scalability of manufacturing processes

Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical troubleshooting support for issues that arise at external manufacturing facilities. Lead cross-functional teams to address /resolve issues that impact production timelines
• Lead investigations into deviations and work with CMOs to implement corrective actions

Ensure Compliance:

• Ensure that all manufacturing activities at external sites are compliant with cGMP, ICH, FDA, EMA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Audit and Inspection Support:

• Lead and/or support external manufacturing site audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions, ensuring that CMOs meet all quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Deviation and CAPA Management:

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing deviations, non-conformances, and other quality issues at external sites
• Collaborate with external partners to implement CAPAs effectively

Technology Transfer and Scale-up:

• Manage Technology Transfer
• Lead the technology transfer process for new products or processes to external manufacturing sites, ensuring that the transfer is executed smoothly and within timelines

Manage Material transfer projects:

• Lead material transfer project s (Changes in API/ Excipient etc.) and ensure timely completion

Scale-up Support:

• Oversee the scaling up of manufacturing processes, ensuring that commercial production is consistent with development batches in terms of product quality and process performance.

Cross-departmental Coordination:

• Work closely with internal teams such as Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Product Development to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes and that timelines are met.

Project Management:

• Manage or contribute to cross-functional project teams, ensuring that all aspects of product commercialization and manufacturing at external sites are executed efficiently and on schedule

Reporting & Documentation:

• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for external manufacturing operations, providing updates to senior leadership.

• Master’s Degree in Pharma, Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
• Ph.D, in Pharmaceutics is preferred
• 20+ years pharmaceutical manufacturing/validation/other related experience for US FDA approved sites
• Strong experience in working with external manufacturing partners (CMOs, CDMOs, etc.)
