You will:

You’ll work across the global information security team to understand the unique problems and constraints, then dig into the data-rich environment to find the pieces of the puzzle. You’ll write scripts, build predictive analytics, automate processes, apply machine learning techniques, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help leadership make informed decisions.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the business to derive data science project requirements.Gather information, business goals, priorities, and organizational context around the questions to answer. Provide feedback to translate and refine business questions into tractable analysis, evaluation metrics, or mathematical models.

• Design and evaluate models to mathematically express and solve defined problems with limited precedent.

• Format, re-structure, and/or validate data to ensure quality, and review the dataset to ensure it is ready for analysis.

• Analyze large amounts of data/information to discover and articulate trends and patterns

• Buildpredictive models and machine-learning algorithms

• Develop conclusive insights using statistical methods.

• Make and defend arguments using data and data-based insight.

• Explain solutions in a non-technical manner

• Mentor other team members

Required

• 3+ years of applied work experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field

• Hands-on experience processing and analyzing large datasets

• Proficiency with relational database (SQL) andprogramming/scripting(Python or R)

• Strong applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.

• Knowledge of machine learning, statistical modelling, and predictive analytics

• Ability to tackle ambiguous and undefined problems

• Motivated and self-directed, demonstrated ability to innovate

• Ability to communicate and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analysis, Mathematics, or a related field

• Experience in information security or IT

• Experience with data engineering

• Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard development

You Will Bring

• Strong understanding of data architecture, engineering principles, and key technologies such as SQL, Python, Git, DevOps, and medallion design.
• Hands-on experience with data transformation and provisioning systems, including Azure, Databricks, and SQL Server.
• Exposure to SAP, Power BI, or Microsoft Fabric (desirable but not essential).
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience with a deep understanding of data design principles.
• Awareness of emerging data lake technologies, such as SAP Datasphere and Apache Iceberg.
• Experience working with consumer sales data (e.g., master data, sales, forecasting) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical customers.
• Strong documentation skills
• Experience in multinational organizations and multi-functional, multicultural environments.
• Fluency in English.
