What you’ll do

• Build full-stack products, from pixel-perfect UIs to highly available, scalable, and secure backend systems.
• Collaborate across multiple product teams locally and in remote locations.
• Contribute to and drive all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements verification, solution building and alignments with stakeholders, architectural design, implementation, testing to meet quality criteria, and processes to deliver the best solutions to our customers.
• Execute with an enterprise cloud mindset to deliver on security, compliance, and infrastructure initiatives with engineering program management.
• Responsibility for ensuring high-quality results. Create and execute test cases, reviews of specifications, design reviews, and code reviews.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline that provides a solid background in software development.
• Extensive experience in the entire software development life cycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• When working with production systems, you hold yourself and others to a high standard.
• Experience with building RESTful microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
  
• DevOps mentality with an understanding of continuous delivery and observability.

• Fluency in both written and spoken English

Tech you bring

• Proficient skills in state-of-the-art development frameworks such as Java Spring(-Boot) for backend development and SPA frameworks (ideally SAP UI5) for frontend development
• Knowledge about information security domains is an advantage. Examples are authentication, authorization, web application security, cryptography…
• Experience in agile development practices (e.g., Scrum) is an advantage as well.

What you bring

• Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, natural science, engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in all aspects of software development and maintenance (preferably in SAP ABAP, ABAP OO and CDS Views)
• Proficiency in software design, software architecture and quality measures
• Effective communication skills in English (German would be a plus), proven and good customer focus and service mindset
• Proven analytical and logical reasoning abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to quickly grasp new technologies and business concepts
• Experience of SAP product localization, good knowledge of SAP Financials and related business applications
• Any prior AI experience would be plus
