Your main responsibilities will include:

Managerial Accounting

• Prepare and execute sales and profit plans for the current month/following three months/next year in accordance with HQ global schedules/policies;
• Perform monthly closing in Controlling side incl. preparing preliminary/final sales, creating cost drivers, inventory valuations and executing allocations;
• Prepare profit & loss statements of plans and actuals for internal reporting;
• Analyze margin fluctuations in terms of plan vs actuals and previous plan vs current plan;
• Check and detect abnormal billings to ensure sales and CGS occur with no errors;
• Perform and support APA (Advance Pricing Arrangement) settlements with HQ/Sales/production subs.;
• Conduct verification for departmental results of bi-annual KPIs

Budgeting

• Execute and supervise periodical budget usages in order to ensure that each stakeholder spends in line with the company policy;
• Conduct invoice settlements to make sure vendor payments are on the basis of pre-approvals;
• Prepare timely and informative overhead expense analysis;

Others

• Prepare accurate regular reports such as monthly management report, inventory status, weekly sales progress and risk sensing in a timely manner;
• Conduct finance related (ad-hoc) projects in order to constantly improve systems and procedures;
• Detail-oriented and proactive with results-driven mindsets;
• Excellent communication skills that can work cross-functional teams;
• Strong team player who can collaborate with positive attitude;
• Mid-to-advanced levels in Excel and other financial modelling tools are a plus;

As an Accountant at Samsung, you will focus primarily on hands-on general accounting activities, including preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules. You will also create financial reports for management in adherence to company policies and regulations, ensuring accurate and transparent information flow. Role and Responsibilities

Asyou will be part of the Accounting team which is mainly responsible for an efficient and effective financial administration in accordance with HQ Strategy and local European legislation.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• [TR] Process treasury daily transactions. Understand a foreign exchange market and financial product and apply an appropriate method. Collaborate with European treasury team for insuring the optimal cash flow and minimizing the financial risk. Understand why a subsidiary’s exchange position has occurred and examine whether the exchange position is hedged. Calculate an appropriate deposit amount of foreign currency in order to hedge an exchange position.
• [Bank] Process daily bank transactions related general expenditures and treasury. Keeping the relation with European treasury team, support the requests and solving issues related bank, treasury.Perform daily bank reconciliation and support to other team member related bank processing.
• [GL] Processing transactions related balance sheet and PL (accruals, payroll, prepaymentsetc.)during month and by month-end. Understand accounting standards and processes related to expense and handle expenses via SAP system. Examine substantiality and soundness of AR,AP,FA and by matching receivables and debts on the financial statement, acquiring financial soundness.
• [Cash Flow] Good understanding and process of cash flow statement (working capital, difference between warehousing and capital of an investment activity, free cash flow, etc.) Explain about and analyze correlation. Perform daily, monthly and annual bank reconciliation.
• [Tax] Good understanding and calculation and report of various taxes (corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, wage tax, WKR, Intrastat) according to tax laws.
• [Intercompany] Managing the intercompany settlements for non-trade invoices.
• [Closing] Preparation and posting of various journal entries in order to maintain accurate and on time reporting in accordance with closing schedule. Process TR closing. Prepare reconciliations for various general ledger accounts, bank accounts, prepaid expense accounts, tax accounts, fixed asset accounts or various other general ledger accounts in order to maintain accuracy and facilitate transparency.
