What you will do

What you will bring

• Agile project management skills evidenced by industry experience or recent certification - with strong background in Scrum (For example PMI-ACP or new PMI-PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or equivalent)

• Outstanding interpersonal skills, including both oral and written communication, mentoring, coaching, collaboration, negotiation, and team building

• Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership with development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues

• Demonstrated track record of delivering software products to production, coaching teams & programs at varying maturity levels.

• Creative approach to problem solving; ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view

• Data driven analysis skills for measuring health of strategy-to-delivery

• Experience with Jira

The following are considered a plus:

• Knowledge of the Red Hat products and application container technology

• Understanding and appreciation of Open Source software development

You’ll help guide teams through sprints and agile ceremonies, but more importantly, you’ll be a champion of collaboration, developer happiness, and practical agility. Through your Jira wizardry and deep knowledge of how to make the tools work for the team and not the other way around, you’ll create an atmosphere where everyone enjoys agile: individuals and interactions over processes and tools.

What You Will Do

• Support and mentor engineers on planning their work in a way that feels natural, not like extra admin

• Collaborate closely with product owners, user experience designers, technical writers, and management to keep alignment strong across the board

• Help managers identify gaps in skills or process and recommend opportunities like training or mentoring

• Be a tooling wizard—set up automations, create dashboards, and build helpers that reduce friction and let engineers focus on what they do best

• Lead multiple teams through agile ceremonies, keeping things focused and enjoyable

What You Will Bring

• Several years of experience working with Jira, GitHub, and similar project tracking tools

• Excellent communication skills, to work effectively with distributed engineering teams

• Demonstrated agile project management experience—through industry work or certifications—with deep understanding of Scrum

• A solid technical background (e.g. prior experience in software engineering), giving you the confidence to support and challenge development teams constructively

The following are considered a plus

• Experience with Linux, Red Hat products, or managed services

• Familiarity with open source development practices and communities

What You Will Do:

• Own the development of new strategic sales opportunities.

• Lead critical customer presentations/sessions around business problems, Red Hat solutions, business value, competitive positioning and product capabilities and roadmaps.

• Maintain relevant and detailed knowledge about products in your domain (features, updates, success stories, etc.) and general knowledge of the RH portfolio.

• Maintain knowledge and enables account teams on current "Plays" in your domain (ISVs, use cases, solution blueprints, Red Hat Sales Plays, etc.).

• Advise on and speaks to forecasts for appropriate products, services and training.

• Guide strategy based on deep knowledge of industry or speciality.

• Position right-sized solutions (subs, services, partners) in the context of addressing the customer’s challenges or problems in their environment.

• Drive growth beyond initial sales and deployment to scale and expand to other relevant products.

• Coordinate with Customer Success on the delivery of the proposed business value/solution.

• 5+ years sales or delivery experience for an enterprise software, SaaS, cloud provider, or consulting company.

• Understanding of the business value and technical solutions sellers; ability to translate customer business and transformation objectives into the value delivered by technology solutions.

• Experience with cloud provider services (AWS, Azure, and Google), Cloud Consumption models and how ecosystem offerings such as the Red Hat portfolio integrate with the same.

• Holds or has ability to acquire, in the first 90 days of employment, one cloud provider certification.

• Understanding of Red Hat’s software portfolio and competitive offerings.

• Excellent communication skill in English is mandatory, fluency in German is a plus.

• Willingness to travel regularly across the region.
