Job Responsibilities:
• Aids in the management of a dedicated departmental support process which has an indirect impact on Philips’ med-tech products by collaborating with different stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, demonstrating great inter-personal and communication skills.
• Supports the day-to-day activities of a dedicated department, typically involving strategic, operational and/or administrative tasks etc. to meet dynamic environment and continuous improvement goals, exercising autonomy within established procedures.
• Conducts research on relevant topics and areas as requested by the manager/supervisor by investigating current trends, industry best practices and competitive landscape to provide comprehensive insights and support the strategic direction of ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Analyzes data related to departmental projects as requested by the manager/supervisor, identifying significant trends, patterns, and anomalies, and delivering actionable recommendations that drive data-informed decision-making.
• Participates in team meetings, contributing innovative ideas and strategic input, while also capturing detailed minutes that accurately reflect discussions, decisions, and action items, ensuring effective communication and follow-up within the team.
• Assists in preparation and presentation of reports or findings for internal and external stakeholders as required by manager/supervisor, ensuring that all findings are presented with utmost accuracy and clarity.
• Organizes and maintains departmental documentation and files by systematically categorizing and filing records, reports, and other essential documents to ensure they are easily accessible and retrievable, thereby enhancing the department's operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintains up to date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and best practices and learns technical skills related to industry, exhibiting a commercial and growth mindset. Minimum required Education:
Active student status/enrollment at the University or College. Preferred Education:
Major in Environmental Science, Environment Engineer, Sustainability.

You will be part of a lean and nimble procurement team consists of experienced logistics and Supply Chain professionals. You will be based in Shanghai collaborating with both domestics and overseas team members. You will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional business teams at various levels of the organization for projects on regional/global scale
You are responsible for
Manage small scale projects in the implementation of global strategy of Supplier Base Rationalization. Support on the analysis or coordination for large scaleprojects;
Understand saving mechanism of every opportunities implemented. On monthly basis, provide accurate reports on actual savings in a structured, efficient and timelyway;
Handle the negotiation and contract amendment triggered by regular contract renewal, scope creep, policy changes,etc;
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to maintain up-to-date status for the actions agreed during Annual ReviewMeetings;
Any other projects as assigned by the line manager.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Currently pursuing abachelor or masterdegree in universities, preferably in Logistics or Business related fields;
Proficient in using Excel & Word &Powerpoint. FluentinEnglish;
Prior procurement or logistics related internship experienceisan advantage, but not a prerequisite;
Problem solving skills is critical in this role. A strong candidate shall have the ability to understand issues quickly, come up with solutions logically and communicate concisely.
