Essential Responsibilities:

• Implements tasks within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), receiving structure and oversight from more experienced staff
• Follows well-established internal conventions and standard procedures
• Understands internal standards & processes an applies them to make technical decisions
• Collaborates with peers, manager, and project lead to gain understanding of tasks and review solutions
• May contribute to code & design reviews

Expected Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Write unit, integration and functional tests thoroughly.
• Engage proactively in monitoring and provide necessary production support.
• Identify and propose application improvements.
• Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams globally to drive and align on solution

What are we looking for in a Software Engineer:

• Full stack: Back-End (Java, Spring framework) and Front-End (React, Node.js, Typescript). This role will focus more on Back-End work.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs; GraphQL, gRPC.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in using AI to help with coding work is a plus

Preferred Qualification:

• 5-10 years of professional experience programming modern web applications in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Interest and ability to learn programming languages and frameworks
• Experience in system design and considerations for large scale deployments
• Solid understanding of developing APIs and integrating services
• Strong skills in writing testable code and high-quality tests
• Familiarity with developing efficient queries and designing schemas for relational databases
