The Senior Architect, Managed Security Services holds a pivotal mandate: defining and driving the technical standard for Next-Generation Managed Security Services across Asia Pacific and Japan.
This is a specialized, high-impact technical role designed for a strategist who understands the intersection of advanced security architecture and service provider economics. You will not just be deploying products; you will be architecting scalable, multi-tenant service platforms that empower our most strategic Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs)/Managed Detection and Response (MDR) providers to transform their operational capabilities.
As a key member of the Technical Solutions Architect team, you will act as the technical conscience for our partner ecosystem, moving them from legacy monitoring models to hyper-automated, platform-centric security delivery. We are looking for a rare blend of deep SOC/Cloud expertise, architectural systems thinking, and the executive gravitas required to influence the long-term service roadmaps of the region's top providers.
Your Impact
In this specialized role, you will act as the primary technical authority for:
Service Design & Creation: Co-designing high-margin, high-efficacy service catalogs with partners. You will translate the Palo Alto Networks portfolio into deployable, scalable managed service offerings (MDR, SASE, Cloud Security).
Architecting for Scale: Developing reference architectures that prioritize multi-tenancy, API-driven automation, and operational efficiency to lower the "cost-to-serve" for our partners.
Strategic Influence: Engaging directly with Partner CTOs and VP-level executives to align their technical strategy with our platformization vision, driving mutual revenue growth through differentiated service offerings.
Feedback Loop: Acting as the technical voice of the JAPAC MSSP market, identifying specific product enhancements (specifically regarding multi-tenancy and portal integrations) to sharpen the competitiveness of the Cortex and SASE portfolios.
Elite Teaming: Collaborating with a cross-functional team of Account Managers, Solution Consultants, and Global Product leaders to execute complex, high-stakes service transformations.
Your Experience
We are seeking a practitioner with a proven track record in high-scale environments. The ideal candidate views security not just as a control, but as a deliverable service.
12+ years of cybersecurity architecture experience, with a specific focus on Security Operations (SecOps/SOC) and architectural scale.
Service Provider DNA: Deep, first-hand understanding of the MSSP business model, including multi-tenancy requirements, unit economics, SLA management, and the lifecycle of service creation.
Technical Depth: Advanced knowledge of AI Driven SOC principles. Experience with API integration and automation strategy is highly preferred.
Executive Presence: Ability to command a room and simplify complex architectural concepts for C-level audiences.
Thought Leadership: A passion for advancing the industry—previous participation in technical forums, white paper authorship, or speaking engagements (e.g., Black Hat, BSides, or regional equivalents) is a strong plus.

Strategic Advisory and Client Engagement:
Establish and maintain executive-level relationships (Manager, Director, VP, and CxO contacts) in strategic accounts with high growth potential.
Transform client security strategies by driving conversations that advocate for Palo Alto Networks’ view of transformative Solution Architectures.
Provide valuable insights and education to clients on effective risk reduction, operational excellence, and cost management.

Internal Partnership and Development:
Become a valued resource to Product Management by discovering and understanding current challenges, competitive insights, and opportunities to address emerging needs in strategic market segments.
Maintain continuous self-improvement and learning to sustain technical leadership across relevant technologies (e.g., security technologies, cyber threat intelligence, risk and regulatory topics, emerging technologies)
Work closely with Sales and Solution Consulting leadership, Unit42 consulting teams, Business Value Consultants, Professional Services, Customer Success, and theater CISO/CTO resources (where applicable) to ensure a coordinated market approach.
Your Experience
Experience: 10+ years of experience as an end customer, a cybersecurity vendor or consultant is required.
Education: BSCS, equivalent degree or experience is required.
Architectural Knowledge:
Must have deep knowledge of security operations, SIEM, endpoint security and incident response. Preferred experience in network security, SASE/Zero Trust, cloud security, identity management, and emerging topics related to cybersecurity and AI is a plus.
Extensive knowledge of core security architectures, history, and trends spanning network, endpoint, and hybrid environments.
Solid fundamental background in principles and practices of networking and/or cloud computing.
Executive Presence: Demonstrable experience in establishing credibility and strategic messaging with large enterprise executives (CISO and above).
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
Drive and Problem Solving:
A "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to overcome obstacles necessary to achieve desired outcomes and close deals.
Robust problem finding and solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems with systematic approaches to quick resolution, even under duress.
Travel: Expect to travel a minimum of 50%+ of the weeks in the fiscal year. Travel will include customer and company location onsite meetings.

As the Regional Campaign and AI Marketing Transformation Manager, you will redefine how marketing campaigns are planned and executed across JAPAC by combining traditional campaign marketing expertise with an AI-first mindset. You will be responsible for creating and operationalizing AI-driven workflows that enhance speed, scale, and personalization — while infusing human creativity and regional expertise.
Sitting within the JAPAC Centre of Excellence, you will partner with global campaign teams, and JAPAC stakeholders across field marketing, ABM/CXO programs, customer advocacy, industry marketing, and volume marketing to translate global campaigns into JAPAC-ready initiatives. This includes ensuring campaigns are always-on, scalable, and localized for country-specific languages and cultural nuances.

Your Experience
8–10 years’ experience leading demand generation and campaign marketing for enterprise software and/or SaaS.
AI-first mind set with demonstrated ability to blend AI with human creativity.
Hands-on expertise in AI marketing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Demandbase, Agentforce, Adobe Experience Platform, or others) to scale content, campaign execution, and analytics.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo (or similar marketing automation platforms), with experience in multi-channel execution.
Proven ability to translate global campaigns into regional execution, including localization for language markets.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $126000 - $204500/YR.
