The position
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and comfort within the facility.
What will your job look like:
- Installing, inspecting, and maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC and refrigeration equipment as needed.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting system components.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems and making necessary repairs.
- Responding promptly to service calls and addressing issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- On call 24/7 for critical faults.
All you need is:
- Relevant HVAC certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Advantages:
- Familiarity with building Management systems (BMS).
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
