Work closely with UK Branch Management and senior managers across the Lemonade Group
Design and implement UK policies, processes, and procedures
Maintain the UK Risk Management and Internal Control Framework
Support Lemonade's Compliance and Risk management function holder through monitoring, assessing, and reporting on Compliance and Risk
Support Regulatory Compliance through management of UK regulatory expectations, reporting and monitoring legislative changes
Take part in the planning, execution, and follow-up of company board meetings and UK Branch management committee, contributing to how we shape, build, and scale our UK and European operations
Advise and support Acquisition, Actuarial, Underwriting, Pricing and Insurance product teams on relevant and applicable UK regulations
Degree in European/ UK law or similar
Past experience in a similar role within a Solvency II (Solvency UK)-regulated entity—preferably in the insurance sector
7 years of experience working in relevant areas such as risk and compliance, corporate governance, and UK regulations (i.e. GIPP, consumer rights, fair value, PROD4, AI, and privacy)
Experience working in a similar role within a regulated entity (preferably in the insurance sector) and with the PRA and FCA regulators
Comfortable working with senior management and board members
General experience with regulatory reporting, preparing presentations, and executive-level analysis and reviews
Adept at independently managing projects
A keen eye for detail, along with strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work in an office environment
