Job Summary

As a Vice President, Payroll Product Delivery Manager within the HR Global Operations Team, you will play a key role in the continued innovation and sustainment of the ADP Global View Payroll, related suite of applications, and business processes. You will be critical in defining the evolution of the platform, bringing efficiencies to processes and experiences that run across the function for all current/former employees, managers, and HR professionals firmwide.

Job responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Familiar with Tririga Development, Space Management,
• Exposure to Tririga UX Development
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Exposure to IBM Tririga Application Version Upgrade / Platform Upgrade is a plus
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
• Use of APM tools, profiling tools and performance tuning process management, scalability

Job responsibilities

• Research and explore new machine learning methods through independent study, attending industry-leading conferences, experimentation and participating in our knowledge sharing community
• Develop state-of-the art machine learning models to solve real-world problems and apply it to tasks such as natural language processing (NLP), speech recognition and analytics, time-series predictions or recommendation systems
• Collaborate with multiple partner teams such as Business, Technology, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Strategy and Business Management to deploy solutions into production
• Drive Firm wide initiatives by developing large-scale frameworks to accelerate the application of machine learning models across different areas of the business
  

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• PhD in a quantitative discipline, e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Optimization, or Data Science Or an MS with at least 3 years of industry or research experience in the field.
• Solid background in NLP or speech recognition and analytics, personalization/recommendation and hands-on experience and solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning methods
• Extensive experience with machine learning and deep learning toolkits (e.g.: TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas)
• Ability to design experiments and training frameworks, and to outline and evaluate intrinsic and extrinsic metrics for model performance aligned with business goals
• Experience with big data and scalable model training and solid written and spoken communication to effectively communicate technical concepts and results to both technical and business audiences.

• Relational and NoSQL databases; developing and managing operations leveraging key event streaming, messaging and DB services such as Cassandra, MQ/JMS/Kafka, Aurora, RDS, Cloud SQL, BigTable, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cloud Spanner, Kinesis, Cloud Pub/Sub, etc.
• Networking (Security, Load Balancing, Network Routing Protocols, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in the fields of production engineering and automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud technology standards and practices.
• Proficiency in utilizing tools for monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting, including Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or equivalent.
