The individual would fulfill the role of
enior Geotechnical Engineer-Maritimeon maritime engineering projects, exhibiting strong technical skills and team participation to help drive projects toward successful completion. You will report day-to-day operations to the Team Leader of Ports & Maritime, Malaysia and will report to the Technical Director of Ports & Maritime.
The work would be principally based in our design office and key responsibilities will include:
- Geotechnical analysis and design
- data gathering and interpretation
- specification and interpretation of ground investigation
- FE modelling (Plaxis or similar)
- Calculations, Design drawings, and Technical report writing
- Specifications for construction and technical presentations to clients and in-house.
be able to demonstrate most of the following skills and knowledge such as ;
- In-depth capability in geotechnical modelling, analysis and design of earth retaining structures (for quay walls), piles (for jetties), slope stability (for revetments, breakwaters), settlement and bearing capacity analysis (for reclamations)
- Detailedknowledge of relevant standards and performing engineering calculations, preparing design drawings
