You will be tasked with leading multiple projects, often alongside wider infrastructure teams, to help deliver a diverse range of outcomes for our clients across the Smart City project lifecycle – from strategy and vision setting, to business case and operating model considerations, as well as design elements to move the projects towards end specification setting.

What you’ll Do:

As a
Principal Consultant / Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of the team and driving forward our strategic offering across the region. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering excellent transport and mobility consultancy services managing a team to develop mobility strategies, transport policy studies, business cases and integrated advisory services across multimodal transport systems.
• Advising government agencies, authorities and private sector on the feasibility, regulation and implementation of smart and sustainable mobility ecosystems.
• Technical and project lead of complex, multi-stakeholder advisory projects, ensuring delivery excellence, commercial performance and client satisfaction.
• Support the management of the Strategic Transport & Mobility Advisory team, in terms of team development and growth, building technical capability and growing the transport and mobility advisory portfolio.
• Help drive business development and be responsible for work winning, identify the next opportunities and support the winning of opportunities.
• Through regular industry participation, you will develop and maintain strong key client relationships, identify emerging opportunities with clients and act as a trusted advisor to a select group of Jacobs key clients and represent the team at key thought leadership events.
• You will facilitate the technical development of more junior resources to meet market requirements and engage with high performers in a team environment to facilitate knowledge sharing and coaching.
• You will support your performance unity to ensure it can thrive in a global setting, encouraging cross-geography relationships in order to maximise the benefit of global delivery to our clients and our people.

In addition to the above, you will be working on the following:

• Continuously improve industry knowledge & build staff capabilities within the practice by leading, coaching, and mentoring the architectural team.

• Support Jacobs C&P team to grow technical knowledge and facilitate professional development.

• Responsible for the design leadership on C&P projects.

• Engage with Client as a Jacobs Design Lead.

• Prepare and present design ideas and design progress, supported by a design team, to the Client.

• Spear head technical issues and guide teams towards resolutions / solutions.

• Build / Assist / Review systems and processes that allow design improvements and growth to operate optimally.

• Review and guide work at multi-disciplinary level, to ensure the required quality is achieved in design and documentation.

• Strategize design delivery for large projects and guide the management related to required skillsets.

• Participating in regional design reviews.

• Planning & management of Design process from concept to construction documentation.

• Mentor junior staff and guide them towards professional excellence.

• Work closely with the Regional Director to improve design quality of the architectural design delivery of all projects.

· Coach Junior resources to collect, analyses, and translate large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data into realistic forecast, plans, goals, and actionable.

· Manage tasks and team to execute and delivery the projects stream works, within the agreed timeline and budget agreed with the other project directors and the clients.

· Lead engagement teams to provide high quality strategies and operating models, and recommendations with commercial impact.

· Identify and address client needs, actively attending client discussions and meetings.

· Able to standup in complex business discussion and present in front of C-level officers, stakeholders executives, government authorities’ offices.
