Specific tasks will include

• Lead a multiple-disciplinary team in delivering projects that exceed client expectations while managing the budget and meeting gross margin goals.
• Driving growth with your client, working closely with the project team for overall client satisfaction from client relationship through final project delivery.
• Leading key pursuit activities during opening, middle, and end game, working closely with sales operations.
• Building relationships with your client through face-to-face meetings and participating in professional events.
• Leading internal coordination through working directly with the sales team on overall client strategy, with Operations for project delivery, and coordination on pursuits with sales operations (cost, risk), and with legal regarding contracting.
• Obtaining and distilling feedback and other indicators that may influence middle game actions.

BusConnects is a strategic national-level intervention for Ireland that will enhance sustainable transportation and the environment by upgrading walking, cycling and bus infrastructure in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, and Waterford.

We have been appointed by the National Transport Authority (NTA) as their Client Partner to deliver Dublin’s BusConnects infrastructure. This will include providing programme management and multi-disciplinary expertise over a 10-year programme to deliver 12 schemes comprising 230 kilometres of continuous bus priority corridors and 200 kilometres of cycle paths and improved pedestrian facilities from procurement through to handover of this new infrastructure. The role would suit someone from a civil engineering background with specific experience on highways/roads.

The NEC Project manager is responsible for Impartial contract administration. Any prospective candidates should have experience of:

• Scope Development: Candidates must have experience in developing scope and contract documents with design teams. Assisting in tender processes under relevant regulations is a plus.
• Construction Phase Administration: Key skills include issuing work variations, handling Compensation Events (CEs), and meeting NEC deadlines.
• Pre-Contract Administration: Candidates should be adept at managing contracts as an employer's agent, with a strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4 Works Information/Scope.

We’ll Expect You To:

• Provide water quality and regulatory advice and strategy to municipal clients

• Support regulatory negotiations with the Washington State Department of Ecology

• Provide reviews of deliverables

• Provide mentoring to other Jacobs staff

You will be joining the Aviation, Rail and Technology Group within our Electrical & Lighting Design Team. With teams across the UK this role would be based in our Birmingham, London, Manchester, or Leeds offices, whilst offering flexible working.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following key duties:

• Technical lead on electrical & lighting projects; responsible for the preparation of lighting and electrical designs at feasibility, optioneering, planning and detailed design stages;
• Programme and cost monitoring;
• Preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, designs, specifications and contract documents;
• Conducting detailed daytime and night-time surveys;
• Supporting the production of Environmental Impact Assessment reports, Economic Assessment reports and Business Cases;
• Liaison with clients, electricity suppliers, contractors, professional organisations, sub-consultants and other design teams.

Due to a continuous period of growth within a major project, we have a requirement for an Assistant Commercial Manager to be based in our Dublin office and client site. This opportunity would suit someone from a commercial background ideally within a high value road or infrastructure setting. You will provide support to the Commercial Manager in carrying out activities across the scheme to ensure the role as Client Partner is delivered at a high level.
