- Operates and maintains lab environments, equipment and tools for product development testing, validation, and characterization.

Also supports developing, building and testing new products and prototypes, or processes for quality and functionality. Operates equipment either from a remote operations center or internal to factory. Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. Maintains overall production efficiency of assigned tools/ modules, and optimizes production efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings as needed. Sets up and operates production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures. Supports activities related to the installation, qualification, maintenance, and training of new or reused production equipment. Drives maximum utilization of equipment and use of automated systems to maximize quality of output. Works with Manufacturing Operations Manager and peers to produce product that meets output requirements and escalates appropriately to management team when shift output schedules are at risk. Supports incorporating process improvements, and troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability. Ensures availability of required raw materials for production. Inspects raw materials and final products, performing quality control evaluations to confirm items meet established standards.
