We are looking for aThe QA Eng. is responsible for ensuring the quality of products throughout the development process, including implementing processes and ensuring compliance with quality requirements. The engineer will collaborate closely with the development teams, define quality plans and metrics, and guide teams in quality control and continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defining and Implementing Quality Processes in Development: Planning, executing, and monitoring quality processes in new projects, including managing testing programs and coordinating with development teams.

• Supporting Technological Innovation: Collaborating closely with design and development teams to ensure adherence to quality requirements and establish guidelines for each project.

• Defining Product Quality Requirements: Developing and defining product quality requirements while ensuring compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements.

• Conducting Quality Control and Testing: Managing the testing process, reviewing test results, troubleshooting, and identifying the root causes of issues.

• Training and Coaching Teams: Creating workshops and training programs for development teams on quality management and best practices in development and manufacturing.

• Continuous Improvement: Analysing data and providing insights to drive continuous improvements in development processes and generating quality improvement reports.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or relevant field).

• Certification or training in quality engineering (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE).

• Experience: 7-8 years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on development and innovation.

• Familiarity with Standards and Regulations: Knowledge of international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CMMI.

• Experience with Development Methodologies: Experience working with agile development methodologies or managing projects in the high-tech industry.

• Analytical Skills: Experience in data analysis and process optimization.

• Experience in the development of hardware/software products - An advantage.

• Familiarity with automated quality management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Q-Pulse)- An advantage.

The position is defined for a two-year period with an option for extension.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an R&D researcher, you will conduct research & investigation in various fields, to develop and shape HP Indigo’s future platforms.

• Responsibility for the printing process development of tomorrow's HP Indigo engines to meet print quality and cost targets
• Study and optimize physical process parameters and materials to achieve best-in-class print quality
• Design, perform, analyze, and summarize experiments involving multi-disciplinary knowledge. Share findings with relevant stakeholdersbothin the technical community and at the management level.
• Convert marketing requirements into engineering requirements, based on theory and experiments.
• Develop and improve quantitative measurement methodologies.
• Develop physical models to characterize systems, andinteractions between subsystems, understand physical mechanisms, and define critical parameters.
• Working with a diverse group of physicists and engineers to help solve complex problems.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Minimum Requirements:
• M.Sc. in physicsorMechanical, Chemical, Materials, or equivalent engineering – OrB.Sc. with over 2 years of experimental R&D work experience
• Excellent communication skills both in Hebrew and English
• Leadership abilities,wideperspective, well-organized, independent, and with a can-do attitude
