Be part of a team at the Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua site, where you will use your knowledge and background in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve production control output and continuous improvements working with Operations, Engineering, Operations AME and Sourcing. You will partner with the factory operations in providing direction that ensures product is coordinated, monitored and completes the production cycle according to schedule.

Key job responsibilities:

• Assign harmonized tariff classifications to Honeywell import/export shipments.
• Support Customs brokers with HTS classification requests
• Upload and maintain electronic import files in record retention repository for audit purposes
• HTS classification maintenance of items database in SAP-GTS system.
• Support to HTS challenges, work with direct manager and Legal on classification rulings as required
• Analyze customs tariffs & duty rates
  Collaborate with other departments as required (FTA, Logistics, procurement, engineering, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Trade compliance, Customs, international affairs or related.
• Demonstrated ability to correctly assign harmonized tariff codes to products
• HTS Customs classification experience.
• Knowledge of import/export environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving-ability, communication skills and global mindset
• Detail-oriented, possessing good analytical skills; able to anticipate problems and diffuse situations
• Self-motivated and able to simultaneously manage multiple time-sensitive tasks, with little or no direct supervision
• Customer-focused and a strong team member, able to shift roles as required by the group dynamic
• Advanced English
• Proficiency in three of the following: Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Word, power point, SAP, GTS, Oracle, Databases management

• Some prior experience in production planning.
• Familiar with standard concepts of field
• Degree of creativity and latitude.
• Able to make decisions using data provided.
