The role will be responsible for delivering and co-ordinating formal training on MRI Imaging equipment.
Responsible for post-sales installation and support either on-site or via digital platforms.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite clinical applications training to users of GE equipment in given modality area.

• Co-ordinate installations and initial clinical applications alongside sales, service and the Clinical Education Manager.

• Conduct high quality application trainings at customer sites to ensure customer's safe and effective use of GE equipment’s, maximising image quality and productivity.

• Maintaining satisfactory after-sale relationships and development of long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.

• Promote unique differentiators based on customer's clinical needs, competition, values and benefits sought.

• Continuously develop and improve a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory.

• Support Trade show/Workshops/show sites/Customer visits.

• Support the deployment of digital tools and embrace the digital transformation of clinical education

• Document trainings, site visit’s and Customer interactions as per the local protocol.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Radiographer degree

• Biomedical engineer

• 2+ year's relevant healthcare industry experience.

• Current experience delivering applications on GE products

• Excellent interpersonal skills including, team working skills and good communication skills.

• Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve

• Team oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset

• Willingness to be flexible/adapt to changing work environments

• Ability to travel and be at customer sites 70 to 80% of the working time (annual average)

• Teaching skills or teaching experience

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience in conducting training in MRI

• Knowledge of GE’s or competitor’s MRI products

• Previous experience as an Application Specialist

• Computer skills (MS office)

You’ll work out in the field, traveling from customer to customer, staying focused and calm under pressure as you solve complex problems to fix important products. In order to plan and organize your day, your will be supported by our planning team. As a Junior Field Service Engineer you will receive extensive training during the first year with us, and you will work under supervision of an experienced Field Service Engineer. Your geographical scope will be Antwerp and Limburg.

• Completing Preventative Maintenance and Field Modification Instructions.
• Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times.
• Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
• Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated.
• Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area.
• May include training of clinical staff on designated equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Educational background in Electrotechnics, Mechanics or similar;
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment;
• Knowledge of IT networks is a plus;
• Fluent Dutch and good English language skills, French is an advantage;
• Valid drivers license.
