With a focus on Dimensional Control:

• Use company and industry standard processes and tools to plan, design, manage, and utilize gauges for measurement of components and assemblies.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance principles
• Interpret data from inspection equipment and recommend responses
• Ensure gauage calibration; certification; and repeatability and reproducibility
• Determine locators and measuring points
• Verify tolerance/engineering specifications
• Develop dimensional/product/process control plans
• Define and conduct machine process capability analyses

With a focus on Welding:

• Develop and manage welding techniques, materials, and technologies.
• Apply knowledge of welding technology; equipment controllers; and weld gun design and evaluation techniques.
• Execute and verify weld processes and procedures.
• Implement the weld certification strategy
• Understand weld schedule development.
• Implement weld control plans and requirements.
