The Opportunity:

The Senior Manager, Payment Operations, Pay-Outs is a regional Operations leadership role requiring managerial skills and technical payments knowledge to ensure optimal business execution in Asia Pacific (APAC). The Pay-Outs team is responsible for cash management, foreign exchange (FX), payout and refunding processes. The APAC team extends across Australia, India, and Singapore. The Senior Manager will collaborate with colleagues from the business and other back office functions like Finance, Compliance, Network Management and Product to ensure smooth day to day payment processing. The Senior Manager will coach the team and deploy extensive payments knowledge and stakeholder management skills to deliver high impact results to the business.

The Senior Manager, Payment Operations, Pay-Outs must be both strategic and tactical to ensure success. As a regional lead, the Senior Manager must be capable of understanding complex operational and transaction banking nuances to make sound and sustainable decisions during APAC business hours. The Senior Manager will also develop talent within the team and create opportunities to recognize top performers. Throughout all this, the Senior Manager will collaborate with teams across the organization and drive transparent communication to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
What you'll be doing:

  • Manage a regional team to execute APAC Operations related to cash management, FX, outgoing payment processing, and refunds
  • Manage and control the daily operations processes
  • Deliver regulatory reports timely and accurately
  • Investigate and resolve complex APAC Operations escalations
  • Build strong relationships with business leads and stakeholders in Compliance, Finance, Network Management, and Product
  • Optimize payment network processes
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the Pay-Outs team
  • Be the expert and “go-to” person in all the operational processes and systems
  • Bring qualitative and quantitative feedback to team to inform decision-making
  • Use data to make decisions that will impact operational processes
  • Be the main point of contact for the different internal and external stakeholders that rely on the team’s operational execution

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience managing teams of 5+ people
  • Deep understanding of cash management, FX, and payment processing
  • Deadline focussed with strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills including proficiency in Excel and other online tools (Google Apps, etc.)
  • Passion for problem solving and helping customers
  • Highly effective communication skills

  • 7+ years experience in payments industry, finance or banking operations

to lead the development and execution of pricing strategies across our global payments solutions. In this
individual contributor (IC) role , you will combine analytical rigor with strategic thinking to drive revenue growth, optimize margins, and enhance the client payment experience. Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • A strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of pricing models and financial analysis.
  • Experience with foreign exchange (forex) pricing, rate management, and cross-border payments in a multi-currency environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7–9 years of experience in pricing strategy, financial analysis, or revenue management, ideally within fintech, payments or financial services.

The Opportunity

We, at Flywire, are looking for a BlueTeam Guy with a passion for tackling big problems. We need a BlueTeam Guy who can help protect Flywire's infrastructure and platform... of course the Flymates also.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in security anomaly detection tools and analytical capabilities to be able to implement security alerts and develop new use cases in order to increase preventative security. You also need to be comfortable collaborating closely with the RedTeam and Threat Intelligence teams in order to feed the systems with more relevant information.

We would like to hire for our Security team a Blue teamer, a successful candidate for this position has technical knowledge and experience performing use cases in dynamic environments.

Candidates will need to be a strong leader with the ability to perform multiple types of analysis including providing mitigation recommendations for impacted parties.

  • Implement and deploy new security tools in the environment
  • Manage and improve detection tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, AV, DLP…)
  • Purple team exercises, work with the red team to improve the detection and alerts.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to solve the security problems that we found, working closely with the developers team, SRE team and IT team.
  • Support implementing new security projects.
  • Knowledgeable of current tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) used by threat actors and practical application of the MITRE ATT&CK framework or similar.
  • Work closely with other team members to review existing policy and procedures, as well as developing new artifacts when appropriate.
  • Develops and executes network monitoring and security operations
  • Participate in on-call functions to support security operations with after-hours coverage.
  • Development of security detection and alerting mechanisms.
  • Performs necessary investigative and response functions to support security operations
  • Automate process and procedures
  • Knowledge of development languages (ruby, bash, python…)

Here’s What We’re Looking For

Technical skills:

  • A Bachelor of Science and at least 5+ years’ experience in IT security.
  • At least 5+ years of experience as a BlueTeamer.
  • Working knowledge of SIEM Platforms. Experience in use case development, log interpretation and security alert generation.
  • Experience creating use cases for SOAR platforms
  • Predisposition and knowledge automation of detection, remediation and collection processes.
  • Working knowledge managing EDR/AV in organizations.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of GDPR, PCI DSS, SOCII
  • Experience with BYOD and DLP system management
  • Strong understanding of enterprise detection and response, intrusion detection and proactive security.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code and containers.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go, Ruby…) and CI/CD services.
  • Knowledge about OWASP top 10, malware, electronic fraud, computer intrusion, identity theft, denial of services, and other potential security threats.
  • An understanding of network and platform security strategies, and implementation practices. Knowledge of WAF.
  • A strong understanding of basic cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Knowledge of multiple operating systems (Windows,macOS and Linux)
  • Analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Project design and management

The Opportunity:

The Senior Manager, Payment Operations, Pay-Outs is a regional Operations leadership role requiring managerial skills and technical payments knowledge to ensure optimal business execution in Asia Pacific (APAC). The Pay-Outs team is responsible for cash management, foreign exchange (FX), payout and refunding processes. The APAC team extends across Australia, India, and Singapore. The Senior Manager will collaborate with colleagues from the business and other back office functions like Finance, Compliance, Network Management and Product to ensure smooth day to day payment processing. The Senior Manager will coach the team and deploy extensive payments knowledge and stakeholder management skills to deliver high impact results to the business.

The Senior Manager, Payment Operations, Pay-Outs must be both strategic and tactical to ensure success. As a regional lead, the Senior Manager must be capable of understanding complex operational and transaction banking nuances to make sound and sustainable decisions during APAC business hours. The Senior Manager will also develop talent within the team and create opportunities to recognize top performers. Throughout all this, the Senior Manager will collaborate with teams across the organization and drive transparent communication to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
What you'll be doing:

  • Manage a regional team to execute APAC Operations related to cash management, FX, outgoing payment processing, and refunds
  • Manage and control the daily operations processes
  • Deliver regulatory reports timely and accurately
  • Investigate and resolve complex APAC Operations escalations
  • Build strong relationships with business leads and stakeholders in Compliance, Finance, Network Management, and Product
  • Optimize payment network processes
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to the Pay-Outs team
  • Be the expert and “go-to” person in all the operational processes and systems
  • Bring qualitative and quantitative feedback to team to inform decision-making
  • Use data to make decisions that will impact operational processes
  • Be the main point of contact for the different internal and external stakeholders that rely on the team’s operational execution

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience managing teams of 5+ people
  • Deep understanding of cash management, FX, and payment processing
  • Deadline focussed with strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills including proficiency in Excel and other online tools (Google Apps, etc.)
  • Passion for problem solving and helping customers
  • Highly effective communication skills

  • 7+ years experience in payments industry, finance or banking operations
