What a typical day looks like:

• Work closely with Business Development, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to create a winning strategy for new business in all segments (Industrial, lifestyle, CEC, Healthcare, consumer devices, automotive)

• Participate in Quote Strategy / Attend Kick-Off calls.

• Interpret complex Bill of Material structures and provide analysis of the manufacturing process elements.

• Creates Bills of Materials structure with Make/Buy and commodity analysis.

• Provide technical support in the review of quotation packages and identify products according to the specified requirements for each customer in relation to quotes.

• Review Gerber files and fab drawings for PCBs.

• 3D & 2D modeling/detailing drawing interpretation skills (Solid Works, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor, NX)

• Experience working with different commodities such as passives, electromechanical, PCB, mechanical, Displays, etc.

• Knowledge of different production processes as machining, die-casting, stamping, injection molding, raw materials, etc.

• Detailed technical review of customer documentation as necessary

• Perform data package review for completeness and generate issue list to discuss with internal & external customers.

• Make sound and accurate judgments based on experience and knowledge; interpret detailed and sometimes poorly defined information.
