This position works with modern applications and modern workflows and requires an intermediate level knowledge of containers, programming languages and source control (git). Experience with one of the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), orchestration, and Kubernetes is required.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Implement, configure and review pre-release products to provide feedback to Product Engineering and Product Management.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise as a member of an agile team.
  • Work as part of an agile team to deliver release readiness content for customers.
  • Present work in progress deliverables at system demos.
  • Review release readiness material produced by the agile team.

Qualifications

You will partner collaboratively with seasoned engineers to keep our customers safe and stop malicious automation. What will you do?

Minimum Qualifications
  • 0-2 years’ experience in cyber related fields
  • Must be able to communicate technical and operational details fluently in English (written and oral)
  • General understanding and experience with HTTP and web application security (school project experience counts)
  • Familiarity with SQL injection, cross-site scripting, web scraping, CSRF, brute force, cookie manipulation, parameter tampering, and other emerging Layer 4-7attacks/vulnerabilitiesto define, configure, and manage security policies encouraging RFC compliance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability including analytical thinking and a strong attention to detail
  • Interest in Cyber security and/or Network security, and/or prior NOC or SOC experience

You'll be handling multiple active cases of diverse scope where analysis of customer network environments and customer specific data requires a review of identifiable factors, arrive at a conclusion which can either be a workaround, restore or resolve the customer’s problem with keeping customers satisfied.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Effectively handles case escalations to tier 3 (Engineering Services) while maintaining customer communication, with limited assistance/mentoring from senior support personnel or management

  • Collaborate with other Senior Network personnel and build strong working relationships with peers, Escalation Engineers, and Managers, or other related F5 departments.

What You Will Bring to the Team
