Job Purpose

Execution of client projects and assist Engagement Manager/ Director in project execution onsite/ offsite, timely completion and implementation toward end-to-end project delivery and management according to the defined plan, in a cost-effective manner

I. Project Delivery

  • Manage small mid-size projects at the client site and controlling the project and the project teams
  • Conduct relevant client meetings during the project individually / jointly with the engagement manager
  • Research and prepare data packs for presentations / workshop documents
  • Assist in preparation of various on-demand reports and analysis for effective planning and decision making
  • Set-up common documentation standard for the project
  • Study to gain knowledge/insights of given industry fundamentals while working on different projects
  • To identify opportunities to improve efficiency of project delivery
  • Should have experience in developing project plans in Microsoft Project, advanced level of composing decks using Power Point, proficient in Excel, Word etc
  • Should be able to manage project finances and maintain project margins

II. IT Advisory Skills

  • Knowledge of overall Banking (covering all key components such as Core Banking, LOS, TF, etc. with basic understanding) and other peripheral systems in a bank. Understand the purpose and flow of information among the systems interaction.
  • Knowledge with working experience exposure to various technology consulting areas like Digital Transformation activities in at least 02 banking domains
  • Intermediate level of understanding about emerging technologies such as Cloud, IoTs, RPA, etc.
  • Systematic view on the adoption of technologies into a given context (application, process, operating model, etc.) on banking industry

Prefer to have:

Your key responsibilities

  • Perform detailed financial analysis and construct complex financial models for valuation purposes.
  • Perform the analysis of historical financial performance and financial position in the business valuation for various purposes (e.g. M&A purpose, tax purpose, financial reporting purpose, purchase price allocation, etc.);
  • Discuss the assumptions that Clients are using in their business plan
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and gather data for comparative analysis.
  • Perform the research of comparable companies and comparable transactions which are used as inputs of market-approach valuation;
  • Prepare comprehensive valuation reports and presentations for clients, clearly communicating the and underlying assumptions.
  • Assist the audit team to review the valuation reports prepared by other valuers (e.g. property valuation reports, Purchase price allocation report, goodwill impairment review, etc.) as an audit procedure;
  • Mentor and guide junior staff in valuation techniques and best practices.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Graduate degree in Economics, Finance, Audit, Banking or related field
