

Application Systems Engineering
You will help clients determine the best way to design and develop state of the art applications to optimize business processes leveraging Pega Development platform.
Your key responsibilities
• Work effectively as an individual contributor/lead, share responsibility, provide support, maintain communication and update managers on progress of tasks
• Continuously strive towards exceeding client & team expectations and work on increasingly complex assignments
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client/onsite personnel
• Ensure on-time delivery of allocated tasks
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide status updates
• Participate in design, development, QA, deployment and support as require
• Compliance to EY policies and procedures like Timesheet / Leaves management etc.
• Ensuring adherence to quality protocols specified for the project
• Update technical architecture/design and unit test cases and ensure high quality deliverables
• Building of Technical Assets and Accelerators
Skills and attributes for success
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills along with experience in producing high quality reports and presentations as needed
• Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives.
• Hands on experience on at least 3-4 Pega Installations / Infrastructures setup
• Knowledge of Java/J2EE, Security Frameworks is a plus
• Understanding of relational database and hands-on experience in Pega Upgrades
• Should cross skill and cross train as per the business requirements.
To qualify for the role, you must have
• 4-7 years of experience in Infrastructure Setup and Pega Administration activities
• Worked on at least 2-3 end to end Pega Installations, Upgrades, Migration projects
• Hands-on experience in Splunk, Jboss, AWS/Azure, IBM Was, EAP 6/7
• Have worked on migrating On-Prem Pega application to Client Managed Cloud-AWS/Azure/GCP (Any one)
• Have Good Knowledge and experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Jenkins, Git
• Experience in setting up and manage Kubernetes infra in one of the platforms like AKS (Azure Kubernet), EKS ( Amazon Elastic Kubernet) or GKE (Google Kubernet Engine
• Proficient in SSL configurations, Load Balancer Setup, LDAP configuration and SSO implementation etc
• Hands-on experience in environment monitoring, performance tuning activities
• Good knowledge in Troubleshooting Pega issues with the help of PDC/logs/Monitoring Tools etc
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in deployment activities
• Good knowledge on CI/CD configuration activities (Pega Deployment Manager or Custom)
• Experience in working with agile and scrum delivery methodologies
Ideally, you should also have
• B.E/B.Tech (Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Comp. Science)/MCA with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Big 4 or paneled SI/ ITeS companies
• Understanding of different Pega Portals/Studios
• Good knowledge on Production Support, Release Management activities
• Experience in grooming a team of 2-3 Junior developers.
• Any certification from Pega Systems but not mandatory

Your key responsibilities
· Facilitate and support the deployment of hardware and software to end users (including the installation, configuration and testing of more complex firm hardware).

· Assist with (or coordinate) the repair of end user hardware and the reinstallation of software as necessary to resolve end user incidents.

· Under minimal supervision, provide after-hours service for escalated issues and tasks from the Service Desk or supervisor.
· Perform asset management activities (procurement, receipt, inventory, tracking, distribution, etc.) as assigned and in accordance with firm policy and EY Technology process.
· Assist with off-site technology support for firm sponsored functions/meetings.
· Assist with IT tasks related to office moves, buildouts and relocations.
· Work effectively as “remote hands” for other EY Technology functions, such as Telecommunications and Hosting.
· Maintain a thorough understanding of EY Technology’s organization and service offerings in order to identify how best to address end user technology needs and incidents.
· Understand the Firm’s business and organization sufficiently to anticipate and resolve end user technology issues that affect productivity of Firm personnel

· This role is required to physically work in an EY office.
Skills and attributes for success
· Effective analytical skills are required to address end-user incidents escalated from the service desk or offered by end user on walk-up issues.
· Decision making responsibilities are generally limited to addressing a single end-user issue; ability to be able to prioritize incidents being worked on and communicate those priorities to end users as necessary.
· A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is desirable.
