Key responsibilities of the role:

• Understand, analyse and present a client’s existing/proposed business, identify key strengths and weaknesses and document key findings;
• Understand key business drivers in a transaction and provide value to the client through insights, factual conclusions and advice;
• Document main findings that underpin the advice that we provide our clients with;
• Gather, verify and assess information and formulate views;
• Plan, prepare and review deliverables in various forms including written reports, presentations and discussions with the client;
• Assist with proposal preparations for prospective clients;
• Build on and develop internal and external networks through personal contacts;
• Build strong internal relationships with members of the SaT team and other EY services;
• Take responsibility for your own learning and development;
• Provide coaching / support to other team members.

To qualify for the role you must have the following:

• Qualified or in an advanced process of becoming qualified ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. MBA) will be considered an advantage
• Strong academic record, preferably relating to Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
• Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English
• Sound financial modelling skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills

Ideally, you will also have:

Strategy & Transactions (SaT) is recruiting for a Valuations Executive to assist our clients inaddressing their strategic planning, regulatory compliance, financial reporting and fair market value documentation needs. As a Valuations Executive, you'll make technical contributions to valuation client engagements and internal projects. You'll gain a thorough understanding of the target business and its market, and of clients' issues, performing research and analysis of the target's industry and of quoted companies operating in that sector. You'll deal with day-to-day queries raised by clients and will attend internal and external meetings relating to the assignment.

You'll perform valuation calculations and analyses, as well as being involved in drafting presentations and reports, formulating views on value, presenting conclusions to the rest of the team and contributing to the presentations of our work and findings to the client.

• Previous valuation experience in professional services/Big 4 Firm
• Time spent working in a consulting environment
• Financial modelling experience
• Achievement of or significant progress towards a CFA;

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Law or related fields.
• Experience working for a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred. However, we will consider with relevant industry experience.
• Customs and trade advisory experience is required.

Ideally, you’ll also

• Have a relevant Masters degree, CPA or ACA/CA/CPA/CMA/SOCPA/Law qualification/CTA or equivalent tax qualification.
• Have high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
