Service Adoption Trainer

Enterprise Technology provides reliable, secure and resilient technology services and solutions to support our 400,000 EY people. The Service Adoption Trainer is responsible for developing and implementing training programs to ensure the successful adoption of new services and technologies within the organization (primarily M365, Security, Mobile and AI such as M365 Copilot). This includes creating training materials, conducting training sessions, and measuring the effectiveness of training programs.

Your key responsibilities

  • Training Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of different user groups within the organization.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions to ensure users are proficient in using new services and technologies. Due to the global nature of our business, expertise is required in delivering effective and engaging virtual trainings.
  • Content Creation: Develop training materials, including manuals, guides, videos (MSFT Clipchamp), and other resources to support training initiatives. Video is a particularly important format for our global audiences and site assets.
  • Direct and manage training support resource
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including product managers, change managers, and service line leaders, to understand training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Performance Measurement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics. Report to key stakeholders and make necessary adjustments to improve training impact.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in training. Implement innovative training methods to enhance user engagement and learning.

This is a non-client facing role, with great flexibility to work from a home office with limited travel.

This role is guided by the BRM Service Adoption Content Lead.

Skills and attributes for success

The role requires an understanding of enterprise services and technologies to develop robust training programs tailored for various audiences (business and technical). The successful candidate must be comfortable training large groups of disparate users virtually in an enthusiastic and energetic manner. The role also requires tracking attendance from training programs and willingness to adjust based on user feedback.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 5 years of experience developing and delivering training programs, preferably in a corporate or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong US English communication and presentation skills, proficiency in creating training materials, and the ability to engage and motivate learners
  • Video production experience (MSFT ClipChamp)
  • College degree in education, training, human resources, or a related discipline
  • Experience developing large scale training programs that includes behavioural changes as well as technology awareness
  • Awareness of requirements for select training programs to be eligible for continuing education credit such as CE or CPE
  • Previous project / program work in the areas of end-user technology adoption, mobile, security and/or Microsoft M365 products and services
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal for leaders and end users
  • Team player mindset, able to work collaboratively with and through others

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Experience establishing and maintaining active knowledge of the broad and complex EY technology estate
  • Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to draft effective, business-ready training materials
  • Advanced interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with content production and planning calendars

Service Delivery Manager – SDA – Engagement Economics

As the Mercury solution is moving forward with SAP RISE transformation program and SAP S4, the SDM will work closely with the Product Managers and relevant representatives from the business community and the GPOs to define the road map and portfolio for their own functional or process area. The SDM will ensure that solutions proposed by the Product Managers are technically viable and do not have any adverse impact from a technical integration perspective. They must ensure that a full impact assessment is conducted and co-ordinate the solutioning and delivery by the AMS vendor where appropriate, working closely with IT Services Portfolio Service Delivery on cross-application delivery.

The SDM will work closely with the Service Managers regarding service performance for their own functional area, agreeing action plans with the AMS functional team, as required, to help prioritize incident backlog and develop demand plans for the delivery of service requests, maintenance requests and enhancement requests.

Your key responsibilities

  • Detailed and specific knowledge of the relevant functional area in SAP, gained through a combination of program delivery / implementation and support
  • Manage the delivery of MST services to the Mercury user community from a functional perspective
  • Manage, plan and represent the break-fixes in the Release review board calls
  • Manage the functional resources of the AMS vendor in terms of resource planning, demand management and the prioritization of workload
  • Manage stakeholders across the IT Services landscape regarding the the operational support of the Mercury solution, with a particular focus on technical integration, including interfaces between impacted and / or dependent applications
  • Work closely with the GPOs and process leads to develop process specific portfolios and demand plans for the relevant functional areas of the Mercury solution and take the prime responsibility for the delivery of service requests, maintenance requests and enhancement requests
  • Work closely with the Mercury program functional teams regarding the viability of business requirements and the potential impact upon the global template
  • Ensure ongoing awareness of the impact of future program releases across the functional area and provide input to impact assessments as required.

Skills and attributes for success

  • The SDM will work closely with the Service Managers regarding service performance for their own functional area, agreeing action plans with the AMS functional team, as required, to help prioritize incident backlog and develop demand plans for the delivery of service requests, maintenance requests and enhancement requests.

One of the most fundamental areas of the Mercury solution is Service Delivery Administration (SDA) which includes Engagement Management, Engagement Economics, and Billing. Based on this scope, the SDA Service Delivery Manager is required to have relevant, similar experience from the following areas of SAP:

  • SAP PS (Project Systems)
  • SAP CPM (Commercial Project Management) and / or
  • SAP PPM (Portfolio and Project Management) or specific experience across, Project Systems (PS)
  • SAP BI-IP/ SAP Business Intelligence - Integrated Planning or SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • SAP FIORI/UI5
  • Experience of SAP Multi-Resource Scheduling would also be a significant advantage
  • SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) incl. Pricing, Billing, including RRB
  • An indepth knowledge and expertise in the areas of planning, budgeting and forecasting processes as they relate to Program/Project Protfolio is desired.
  • Integration of planning/budgeting/forecasting functionalities and data transfers between various functional areas like CPM, PS, BI-IP , and FI-CO is desired.
  • Experience in Results Analysis, integration with SAD SD DIP, SAP CATS
  • Significant experience of delivering operational IT support services in a highly integrated, multi-application environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong management background with the ability to manage demanding customers and challenging suppliers fairly and effectively
  • Management of service delivery performance and compliance through agreed metrics and Service levels
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and management skills to deliver supplier performance
  • Ability to communicate effectively across a complex and diverse group of stakeholders
  • Deep and practical ITILv3 knowledge and experience

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 12 years’ SAP experience from both an implementation and support perspective
  • Direct experience in complex management activities including supplier management and the delivery of complex IT services to customers
  • Significant awareness of the future direction for SAP in the relevant functional area
  • Significant experience of developing and managing portfolio plans and planning demand in line with business priorities
  • Direct experience in managing staff and budgets
  • Strong service management experience with good awareness of ITILv3
  • Certification in the relevant function area of SAP is preferred

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Demonstrate an inclusive and globally aware mindset

Your key responsibilities

Planning & Vision:

  • Develop and implement service transformation strategies that align with the organization's overall goals.
  • Identify areas for improvement and innovation in service delivery.
  • Define and communicate the vision for future service offerings.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of service transformation projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Change Management:

  • Lead and facilitate change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption.
  • Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Address resistance to change and ensure employee buy-in.

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze existing service processes and identify areas for optimization.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Define and manage interfaces with other service processes.
  • Monitor and measure the performance of service processes.

Service Integration:

  • Evaluate and recommend new services & processes to support service transformation initiatives.
  • Define overall roster of BMO services, methodologies and tools that support the BMO, this includes core service definitions and tool requirements
  • Manage the implementation & enablement of new services, processes and tools within the BMO
  • Ensure that methods and solutions are aligned with business needs.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and issues.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze data to track service performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Use data to make informed decisions about service transformation initiatives.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience in defining and managing core methodologies and processes within a business management office.
  • Ability to ensure methodologies are pragmatic, fit for purpose, and aligned with shared toolsets.
  • Strong understanding of financial management processes, including planning, forecasting, and product TCO.
  • Capability to partner across various functions to develop and syndicate ideas and change
  • Experience in defining, syndicating, and marketing core service definitions and offerings.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in service management, transformation, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading successful service transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience in managing methodologies, processes, and tools within a business management or similar function.
  • Strong understanding of current business management processes leveraged to maintain the rhythm of the business - financial management processes, including planning and forecasting, engagement code management, etc.
  • Proficiency in using service management and project management software tools.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or similar qualifications in process improvement methodologies a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Ability to develop and syndicate strategic visions and roadmaps.
  • Experience in defining and marketing service offerings and value propositions.
  • Prior experience in a Professional Services Firm is highly desirable.

Service Adoption Trainer

Enterprise Technology provides reliable, secure and resilient technology services and solutions to support our 400,000 EY people. As part of Enterprise Technology, you’ll be at the forefront of enabling innovative technologies including emerging collaboration tools and top-tier technology infrastructure.

The Service Adoption Trainer is responsible for developing and implementing training programs to ensure the successful adoption of new services and technologies within the organization (primarily M365, Security, Mobile and AI such as M365 Copilot). This includes creating training materials, conducting training sessions, and measuring the effectiveness of training programs.

Your key responsibilities

  • Training Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of different user groups within the organization.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions to ensure users are proficient in using new services and technologies. Due to the global nature of our business, expertise is required in delivering effective and engaging virtual trainings.
  • Content Creation: Develop training materials, including manuals, guides, videos (MSFT Clipchamp), and other resources to support training initiatives. Video is a particularly important format for our global audiences and site assets.
  • Direct and manage training support resource
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including product managers, change managers, and service line leaders, to understand training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Performance Measurement: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics. Report to key stakeholders and make necessary adjustments to improve training impact.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in training. Implement innovative training methods to enhance user engagement and learning.

This is a non-client facing role, with great flexibility to work from a home office with limited travel.

This role is guided by the BRM Service Adoption Content Lead.

Skills and attributes for success

The role requires an understanding of enterprise services and technologies to develop robust training programs tailored for various audiences (business and technical). The successful candidate must be comfortable training large groups of disparate users virtually in an enthusiastic and energetic manner. The role also requires tracking attendance from training programs and willingness to adjust based on user feedback.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 5 years of experience developing and delivering training programs, preferably in a corporate or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong US English communication and presentation skills, proficiency in creating training materials, and the ability to engage and motivate learners
  • Video production experience (MSFT ClipChamp)
  • College degree in education, training, human resources, or a related discipline
  • Experience developing large scale training programs that includes behavioural changes as well as technology awareness
  • Awareness of requirements for select training programs to be eligible for continuing education credit such as CE or CPE
  • Previous project / program work in the areas of end-user technology adoption, mobile, security and/or Microsoft M365 products and services
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal for leaders and end users
  • Team player mindset, able to work collaboratively with and through others

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Experience establishing and maintaining active knowledge of the broad and complex EY technology estate
  • Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to draft effective, business-ready training materials
  • Advanced interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with content production and planning calendars
