Your key responsibilities

The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same. That means you’ll need to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop solutions. You’ll also be collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines, so we’ll look to you to build relationships and identify opportunities for our clients to benefit from our knowledge in other areas.

  • An understanding of IFRS Accounting Standards
  • Assist in audit readiness engagements
  • The ability to analyze the client’s accounting matters against these standards ensuring that an appropriate accounting conclusion is reached
  • Consult with appropriate external and internal resources on accounting issues
  • Participate in multiple engagement teams within Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS)
  • Collaborate with the FAAS engagement team and client to determine a strategy that appropriately addresses risk and manages client expectations relating to deliverables
  • Work with other service lines to provide an integrated service delivery
  • Develop and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks.

Your key responsibilities

  • Close collaboration with the EY engagement leadership team and clients to plan, design, deliver, and deploy solutions to complex issues.
  • Support project teams by conducting thorough analyses of government and public sector operations, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable strategies.
  • Support the development and execution of project management activities, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and client satisfaction. Activities include developing and maintaining project plans, weekly and monthly progress reports, risk and issue monitoring.
  • Support the delivery timely, quality output and work products per client’s needs.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
