As a member of our SAP Consulting team, you will contribute to SAP related engagements in the Financial Services Industry, helping our clients transform their business & maximize their performance. The specific position is based in Athens and requires working in multi-disciplinary teams to provide a range of services with focus in SAP implementation projects & methodologies.

Your key responsibilities

As an SAP FPSL Technology Consultant, you will be a key resource on large-scale system implementation projects in the Financial Services industry. In this role, you should be able to deliver quality client service, analyse complex problems and deliver insightful solutions. You will also be expected to have excellent communication skills, integrate into new teams and establish relationships.

More specifically, the successful candidate should be able demonstrate the ability to perform one or more of our range of services:

  • Design Business Processes
  • Translate business needs to system requirements
  • Prepare and participate in the execution workshops on project areas
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA FPSL
  • Conceptualize the technical integration of SAP with the system landscape of the clients
  • Control and support of test cycles and rollouts
  • Participate in Sales and Presales activities
  • Manage own work against the project plan to ensure superior client delivery
  • Understand the client’s business, follow sector trends and learn leading practices
  • Diagnose a problem, conduct analysis, and develop solutions for client problems
  • Present thoughts and ideas in a clear and composed manner to instill confidence in team and clients
  • Effectively interact with colleagues and clients of varying backgrounds

Skills and attributes for success

What we look for

  • Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor’s and preferably a master’s degree in Financial Accounting and/or Informatics. Orientation in Information Systems and Technology-driven solutions will be considered an asset
  • A Business-oriented mindset, which promotes asking the right questions and taking initiative towards problem-solving
  • Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in Greek and English)
  • Working experience with SAP FPSL or Bank Analyzer

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Working experience in Financial Accounting or Data Management, preferably in a consulting firm
  • Knowledge of Financial Services (banking or insurance) business processes

Your job responsibilities:

Our requirements:

  • Atleast 3 years of relevant experience in Audit and/or Consulting within the Banking/insurance sector – incl. expertise in latest IFRS developments
  • Required knowledge in any of the below areas:
  • financial reporting and/or consolidation (ideally for financial institutions)
  • accounting methodology (ideally for financial institutions)
  • controlling department (ideally of a financial institution)

  • The first step is the entrance tests , which you will complete online. There will be three in total: English, numeracy and logical thinking, and cognitive thinking. You will have a week to complete these tests, and we appreciate timely submissions.
  • The second round is an online meeting with our recruiter Karolina, where you will discuss all the necessary details of the position.
  • Subsequent rounds are online interviews with Strategy & Execution team members where you will receive a brief introduction from one of our colleagues, followed by a case study. These rounds will also include questions relating to personal fit. They are a great opportunity to meet and interact with your potential future team members.
  • The final part of the selection process is a short online call with the team partner .

As a member of our SAP Consulting team, you will contribute to SAP related engagements in the Financial Services Industry, helping our clients transform their business & maximize their performance. The specific position is based in Athens and requires working in multi-disciplinary teams to provide a range of services with focus in SAP implementation projects & methodologies.

Your key responsibilities

As an SAP FPSL Technology Consultant, you will be a key resource on large-scale system implementation projects in the Financial Services industry. In this role, you should be able to deliver quality client service, analyse complex problems and deliver insightful solutions. You will also be expected to have excellent communication skills, integrate into new teams and establish relationships.

More specifically, the successful candidate should be able demonstrate the ability to perform one or more of our range of services:

  • Design Business Processes
  • Translate business needs to system requirements
  • Prepare and participate in the execution workshops on project areas
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA FPSL
  • Conceptualize the technical integration of SAP with the system landscape of the clients
  • Control and support of test cycles and rollouts
  • Participate in Sales and Presales activities
  • Manage own work against the project plan to ensure superior client delivery
  • Understand the client’s business, follow sector trends and learn leading practices
  • Diagnose a problem, conduct analysis, and develop solutions for client problems
  • Present thoughts and ideas in a clear and composed manner to instill confidence in team and clients
  • Effectively interact with colleagues and clients of varying backgrounds

Skills and attributes for success

What we look for

  • Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor’s and preferably a master’s degree in Financial Accounting and/or Informatics. Orientation in Information Systems and Technology-driven solutions will be considered an asset
  • A Business-oriented mindset, which promotes asking the right questions and taking initiative towards problem-solving
  • Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in Greek and English)
  • Working experience with SAP FPSL or Bank Analyzer

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Working experience in Financial Accounting or Data Management, preferably in a consulting firm
  • Knowledge of Financial Services (banking or insurance) business processes
