As a Senior Technology Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. On your typical engagement, you will work with the key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP system capabilities. You will initiate the requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, complete the workflow and documentation, as well as the functional design of the solution. You will liaise with the stakeholders and the technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete the configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor’s degree.
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years of experience working with SAP Transportation Management (TM).

• Expertise in technology business requirements definition, analysis, and mapping.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
• Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
• Ability to build and manage relationships effectively.
• Capacity for critical thinking and complex problem-solving.
• Experience in hybrid collaboration and driving outcomes.
• A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience.
• SAP certification(s).
• Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of your core module.
• Experience in project management and tracking deliverable completion.

As a Manager, you will juggle multiple tasks in a high performing environment. You will oversee financial statement as well as review tax returns. INSURANCE

• High level of demonstrated technical proficiency to review and develop lesser experienced staff in the areas of client engagement management and applied technical knowledge for insurance companies and their affiliates, including consolidated and stand-alone federal, state, local and foreign tax returns, estimated payments and extensions, SSAP 101 tax accounting for insurance companies, and federal and state tax audits
• Experience in the review of statutory and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) income tax provisions
• Knowledge of investment accounting policies and procedures (e.g. DRD, OID, Intercompany Deferrals, Corporate Actions, etc.)
• Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations and a solid knowledge of ASC 740, Form 1120PC, Form 1120L.At least 4 - 5 years of experience in preparing 1120, 1120 PC, 1120 L and consolidated group returns; experience reviewing these returns is a must.
• Income tax support for income tax experience for Insurance companies as well as C Corporations
• Experience in applying the IRS rules regarding Investment, Market discount, OID Premium and loss reserve.

Global Trade Senior Advisor

Customs and Trade is a highly dynamic area with complex technical challenges for businesses around the world. As a Trade SAP professional at EY, you'll use experience and knowledge of SAP functionality, additional SAP tax and/or trade applications and third-party solutions to help clients identify the right technology tools and manage their systems to deliver tax and/or trade requirements effectively on their international business. The primary role would be to engage with clients and help to maximise the value that their SAP systems can deliver from a Customs and Trade perspective, whether these systems are being implemented for the first time or clients are looking to extract more value from the existing SAP system.

Core skills and attributes for success

• Business consulting experience is mandatory
• Experience of SAP implementation in particular with a Trade and Customs angle. This does not have to be limited to SAP GTS.
• A good understanding of SAP ECC/ S4 HANA processes around Sales, Procurement and Logistics is essential.
• Experience of hands-on implementation of SAP GTS is strongly preferred, but not mandatory if the candidate has a basic understanding of SAP GTS.
• Experience of SAP EWM and TMS is also preferred.
