Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Tax, Law or a related field and 2 years of work experience in Tax. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Tax, Law or a related field and 1 year of work experience in Tax.Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience providing VAT/indirect tax advice within the pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, financial services, petrochemicals and/or media and entertainment industries.Must have 1 year of experience in VAT taxation, including country-specific or multi-jurisdictional VAT consulting, and VAT compliance.Must have 1 year of experience interacting with client tax directors or representatives.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagement teams delivering transaction and transformation engagements in finance domain, supporting key client stakeholders and onshore partners

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EY offices worldwide, leveraging regional practices and insights to enhance delivery.
  • Build and deploy high performing team on finance & accounting related engagements specially on finance technology domain
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in one or more of the following sectors e.g. TMT, CPR, Industrial & Energy, Life Sciences and Health Care
  • Bridge business and technology, translating strategic finance requirements into actionable technical roadmaps and scalable solutions.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Experience in providing strategic direction and technical oversight in the development of agentic AI / Low code solutions, including data strategy and architecture and user experience design.
  • Expertise in Finance Digital platform including design and support development of techno functional solutions, with a focus on project implementation, stakeholder management and communication at the C-Suite level.
  • Ensure high-quality work products that document procedures and outcomes aligned with engagement objectives.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI systems, with a working understanding of how AI solutions are designed, developed, and deployed in enterprise environments.
  • Flexible, curious and creative, open for new things and able to propose innovative ideas
  • Able to work creatively and systematically in a time-limited, problem-solving environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to meet tight deadlines and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity, adapting to new challenges with strong problem-solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 12 – 16 years of relevant work experience in digital transformation experience in Finance & Accounting domain with exposure to ERP/ BI systems used by finance professionals to undertake accounting, reporting and other financial analysis
  • Minimum of 6-9 years of driving digital transformation project of repute in Global MNC
  • Demonstrated ability to drive project both from a technology and finance transformation perspective, ensuring alignment with end client business objectives
  • Experience of guiding teams on digital projects focusing on Finance Functional areas and Communicating results to clients
  • Familiarity with deep expertise in one or many functional areas of R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A
  • Excellent in communication and Presentation Skills
  • Experience in three or more Finance technology (SAP, Workday, Oracle, Blackline, High Radius etc)
  • Experience with the digital transformation principles including product development and implementation
  • Willingness to mentor team members
  • Solid thoughtfulness, technical and problem-solving skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Project management & Digital Finance Transformation skills
  • Understand the finance system backend technology architecture
  • Exposure to agentic AI systems and tech innovation frameworks
  • Experience in AI, automation, and digital product development
  • Good understanding of Finance Functions Operations covering one or more sub functions like controllership, FP&A and working capital
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
