Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of Oracle Payroll and Compensation systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Experience with at least three full-cycle Oracle Payroll and Compensation implementation projects, including system configuration, integration, data migration, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide ongoing support and system enhancements post-implementation to maintain system efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather comprehensive business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Oversee project teams, offering guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to execution and closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, architecture diagrams, and process flows.
• Facilitate change management and training programs to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes by end-users.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll and compensation regulations and standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest Oracle updates, patches, and technology trends to recommend and implement system improvements.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.

Management of Audit Engagements:

• Provide high-quality professional management of internal and external audit projects.
• Understand EY’s practices and service offerings, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

On-Site Coordination:

• Lead and support on-site coordination for audit clients, including planning and briefing the team on the client's IT environment and industry trends.
• Coach and mentor staff, ensuring effective communication with clients and successful completion of audit engagements.

Client Relationship Management:

• Maintain strong relationships with client management to manage expectations regarding service delivery, work products, and timelines.
• Deliver value to clients by aligning services with their specific needs and industry challenges.

Preparation of Audit Reports:

• Prepare comprehensive IT audit reports assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of control structures.
• Provide practical recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of controls and processes.

Issue Resolution:

• Discuss and resolve IT audit issues and recommendations with client management, fostering a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Understanding of Information Systems:
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and apply this knowledge to client situations, ensuring relevant insights are provided.

Skills and attributes for success

• Hands on experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP S4/HANA, Oracle Financials or JD Edwards.

What we are looking for

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT external and/or internal audit;
• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other relevant program required.
• Possessing relevant accounting / audit designation(s) or working towards one (e.g. CISA).
• Demonstrated knowledge of COSO, COBIT, ITIL, or other IT frameworks would be as asset.
• Proficiency using SharePoint and MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, OneNote and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel
