Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced (Senior) Consultant in our Transfer Pricing team, you provide competent technical advice to key players in the Financial Services Industry on transfer pricing and related international tax issues. You will work directly with the executive team. You demonstrate a pro-active, client-oriented attitude and will be directly involved in identifying new business opportunities. Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Advising major financial services clients in relation to (inter)national transfer pricing matters;
  • Assist in dealing with highly complex transfer pricing issues on a daily basis and write high-quality opinions on a variety of international tax and transfer pricing related topics;
  • Devise, direct, and execute database searches for companies in Europe and foreign markets;
  • Assist in performing economic, financial and accounting analyses;
  • Participate in development of complex valuation models and tools.
  • Assist in the review and design of transfer pricing policies, including transfer pricing documentation/compliance;
  • Provide support in tax audits and litigation together with the Transfer Pricing team;
  • Provide assistance with respect to tax ruling requests and advance pricing agreements (“APA”) together with the Transfer Pricing team;
  • Attend meetings on an international level with key-decision makers, to discuss the clients' business and tax needs;
  • Play a key role in maintaining an excellent relationship with a variety of top-class financial services clients and assist in supporting such clients with any questions they might have;
  • Participate in and contribute to attaining team goals;
  • Have the opportunity to go on assignments abroad and/or accompany Executives on in-country visits to broaden your international network.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Master’s degree in economics, potentially with an additional degree in taxation
  • Between 2 - 5 years of professional experience in Transfer Pricing
  • Fluency in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus
  • Strong analytical abilities

Your Key Responsibilities:
You will advise our clients to achieve their objectives by supporting them to identify and manage their risks. Your tasks and responsibilities will include, amongst others, the following:

  • Managing Internal Audits during which the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls (using data analytics) is reviewed recommendations are developed to improve effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls. These include operational, financial and sustainability controls.
  • The development of Risk Based Internal Audit Plans.
  • The development or improvement of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks, including maturity assessments and the preparation, execution and reporting of risk assessments.
  • The implementation of Internal Control environments (e.g. ESG, COSO, SOX).
  • Co-develop go-to-market initiatives in the various sectors and industries in Belgium in the domains of internal control, internal audit and risk management

In your role as Manager , we expect you to manage execution of these tasks and responsibilities independently, with support of a Director or Partner. You will also coordinate and review work performed by more junior colleagues.

To qualify for the role:

  • You have a master degree
  • You have minimum 5 years of professional experience with internal organization control, internal audit, risk management or process optimization.
  • You have strong project management skills to lead and manage engagements effectively.
  • You have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • You have leadership skills to manage and mentor junior team members.
  • You must have excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills and strong analytical skills.Experience with data analytics is an asset.

As a manager/senior consultant, you will work with the team to strengthen the financial organization of companies of various sizes in the context of a transaction. This can range from fundraising with private investors, selling to private equity funds, or an IPO.

Some activities you can contribute to includeAnalyzing data and engaging with company stakeholders to identify key areas for improvement. You will then make recommendations on how to address these improvement points. Examples include:

  • Contributing to the strategic shaping of the target operating model for the financial organization, both before and after a transaction.
  • Improving, strengthening, and scaling the financial organization of portfolio companies of private equity funds throughout the investment lifecycle.

Experienced Consultant – Transfer Pricing – Financial Services


Our Tax & Legal practice for financial services in Belgium is growing fast, and our team members are dealing with the most diverse tax and legal matters. We have a large client base of top banks, insurance companies, FinTechs and asset managers both in Belgium and abroad, who we enable to achieve tax certainty and compliance through a whole range of services:

  • Business Tax Services, such as corporate tax, transaction tax (M&A, …)
  • Customer tax transparency measures: FATCA, QI & CRS
  • Indirect Taxes such as VAT & IPT (Insurance Premium Tax)
  • International Tax Services and Transfer Pricing
  • Operational Taxes (Withholding Taxes, Financial Transaction Taxes, Tax on stock exchange transactions
  • Technology-enabled services (net asset tax and withholding tax automatic calculation and reporting, breakdown reporting for funds and investors)
  • Tax Technology and Transformation services


Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced (Senior) Consultant in our Transfer Pricing team, you provide competent technical advice to key players in the Financial Services Industry on transfer pricing and related international tax issues. You will work directly with the executive team. You demonstrate a pro-active, client-oriented attitude and will be directly involved in identifying new business opportunities. Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Advising major financial services clients in relation to (inter)national transfer pricing matters;
  • Assist in dealing with highly complex transfer pricing issues on a daily basis and write high-quality opinions on a variety of international tax and transfer pricing related topics;
  • Devise, direct, and execute database searches for companies in Europe and foreign markets;
  • Assist in performing economic, financial and accounting analyses;
  • Participate in development of complex valuation models and tools.
  • Assist in the review and design of transfer pricing policies, including transfer pricing documentation/compliance;
  • Provide support in tax audits and litigation together with the Transfer Pricing team;
  • Provide assistance with respect to tax ruling requests and advance pricing agreements (“APA”) together with the Transfer Pricing team;
  • Attend meetings on an international level with key-decision makers, to discuss the clients' business and tax needs;
  • Play a key role in maintaining an excellent relationship with a variety of top-class financial services clients and assist in supporting such clients with any questions they might have;
  • Participate in and contribute to attaining team goals;
  • Have the opportunity to go on assignments abroad and/or accompany Executives on in-country visits to broaden your international network.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Master’s degree in economics, potentially with an additional degree in taxation
  • Between 2 - 5 years of professional experience in Transfer Pricing
  • Fluency in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Market and client focus
  • Good project management skills
  • A team player’s mentality with sound communication skills and a hands-on approach
