In this role you will:
- Leverage domain expertise to proactively identify and mitigate risks and lead customer expectations for successful delivery and Licensing consumption/renewal
- Provide lifecycle feedback to CX Product Management and CX Success Programs Teams
- Advocate for Cisco’s end-to-end CX offer strategy and roadmap to sales specialists, delivery teams, and customers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical experience of 5+ years of relevant technical experience as Technical or Architecture lead in a customer facing consulting role.
Experience in AT LEAST TWO of the following technical fields:
- Transport IP Core across large organizations (Service Provider, Finance, Public Sector, Enterprise)
- Automation Environment (Cisco and Multi-vendor)
- Core MPLS or Metro (Cisco XR or Industry Standard)
- Controllers and Software Lifecycle
- Automation Software for Networking
- Software Integration API across multi vendor Solution
- Cloud Architectures
- Software Development and programming
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or MSc or equivalent experience and Industry Standard Certification
- Experience in multi-vendor environment as a bonus.
- Excellent customer interaction and presentation skills (ability to clearly communicate to different audiences and deliver a message in a concise, professional manner).
- Ability to educate customers on product value and establish trusted advisor relationships across different organizational levels.
- Bonus language skills (ie Arabic, French, Spanish, German, or Italian)

What you’ll do
Other activities include but are not limited to:
Work on the installation of new equipment/solutions including racking, configuration and go-live on both simple and complex projects.
Supporting existing platforms and network solutions.
React to and support the swift resolution of breaches and errors so that global operational efficiency is maintained.
Requirements
You are currently enrolled at university studying a course involving Computing, Networking and/or IT (penultimate-year).
The ability to be given a task and be able to research and deliver what is required.
Demonstrate curiosity in the following technologies:
Networking (Routing & Switching & Wireless)
Automation / Programming - (Python, Bash, PHP etc.)
Linux / Windows Operating Systems
Virtualisation Technologies – VMware, OpenStack, Docker

Your Impact
- Act as an invaluable technical advisor and subject matter expert for Cisco Cloud Security customers and partners.
- Provide strategic guidance and advisory services to ensure successful onboarding and adoption for Cisco Cloud Security products including Cisco Secure Access, Cisco Umbrella, and Cisco Secure Connect.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Support, Engineering, Product Management, Customer Success, and Sales teams to understand customer and partner environments, requirements, and use cases, with strategic mindset to achieve technical excellence.
- You are able to explain technical concepts and give clients guidance and vision about the solution. You have a detailed understanding of the aligned technology/specialization areas, including features and use cases.
- You love customer interactions, understand customer needs and align architectural and vertical expertise to multi-functional teams.
- You will actively collaborate with customers and partners to drive product utilization, ensuring they realise the solution´s value tailored to their use cases.
- 5+ years in customer facing Support, Professional Services, Implementation or Client Services roles
- Experience with Security Products eg: Web proxy, DNS, firewall, IPSec, IPS, DLP and CASB
- Candidates must possess a CCNP certification or higher, or demonstrate equivalent proficiency. In the absence of certification, proven experience in implementing and managing advanced Cisco enterprise networks is required.
- Expert understanding of common network protocols including TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, SAML and VPN technology
- Experience with the Secure Service Edge (SSE) product space
- Knowledge with any/all: Directory services (Microsoft, Okta, PingFed), OS (Windows, Mac, Linux), VMWare ESX/ESXi, Cloud platform (Amazon, Google, Azure), Meraki
- Good communication skills
- BA/BS degree (or equivalent expertise) and/or CCNP or above, or equivalent proficiency
